Food was ok

I agree with other reviews that one of the staff was rather pushy.
He didn't seem to care much when I tried to confirm my meal would definitely be vegan but luckily someone else was more attentive. Even came back to check if tofu would be ok and made sure the egg was omitted.

Food was ok but nothing to shout about.

Good food, strange service

Like the other reviewers, I found the service to be a bit harsh here and it’s a bit friendlier next door. However I must say the Masala Thosai was very tasty. I think sometimes being vegan in small towns you can’t clutch at straws, take the good food and ignore the crappy service, you’ll be okay.

Decent food but pushy staff

We had thosai and roti canai which were pretty good. The waiter was very pushy when we walked through the front of the restaurant though and they put plastic straws in our water which was unfortunate (we forgot to specify not to but it just seems like such an obvious thing to leave out anyways). Food tasted good but probably wouldn't go back.

Pros: Decent food , Lots of choice

Cons: Plastic straws , Pushy staff , Paper napkins

Average

Thought the food was average here. The cheap roti breakfast was good though. Friendly staff.

Nice food, pushy staff

There are a lot of budget Indian restaurants out here, and this is one of them. The food is delicious and the portions so big I generally have 2 meals out of it. All have vegetarian versions, which are generally actually vegan (verify if in doubt). They do Chinese, Malaysian and western food as well, but obviously Indian food is their specialty.

However, the staff is really pushy... if you have been in Cameron Highlands and have walked the Main Street, 100% 1 of the guys working here (they have 1 really fanatic one) grabbed you by the sleeve of pushed their menu in your face. I watched it while waiting for my order and it’s rather disturbing. Once you’re in the friendliness goes away, I was literally yelled at by the same man and grabbed by the arm when my order was ready.

Therefore I prefer the neighbors at Sri Brinchang. Food is the same, staff bit more relaxed and the food is actually slightly cheaper over there.
