i absolutely loved that everything here was vegan!! all the flavors i tried were amazing. i ended up choosing the chocolate cookie monster in a waffle cone and it was so so good. my (non-vegan) friends loved their ice cream as well!!

100% Best Vegan Ice Cream - Edit
Kula is incredible. I've tried at least 12 of their flavors by this point, and they've all been amazing. Smooth, rich, perfectly sweet. On most days, you can get scoops, pints, cakes, and pup cups (🐶!!!). They change their flavors at least seasonally, so make sure you visit often 😉

They were serving ice cream sandwiches at a vegan festival and my kids were in heaven! We tried the vanilla chocolate chip (great coconut flavor) and strawberry (sweet yet tart) ice cream sandwiches. They are definitely on the pricey side (I think we paid $30 for 2 ice cream sandwiches with tip) but they were definitely scrumptious!

Definitely worth a try - Edit
I really enjoyed these sweet treats. The different bases were really fun to see, and the person helping us was very patient and friendly. They were out of the waffle cookie for the sample platter, but they were able to substitute it for a cone. The cookie sandwich was delicious with only a tiny amount of grainy texture to alert you to the gluten-free nature. They were very allergen conscious and considerate. Definitely worth a visit.

While I have never been to the storefront, I have had their ice cream twice at the Hillcrest farmers market. I have had both a creamy-based one and a sorbet. The sorbet was a little icy, in my opinion, but my boyfriend disagreed with me. There are also a lot of flavors, even at the market stall. In all honesty Kula is not my favorite vegan ice cream, but it’s tasty and a vegan company, so I cannot complain! The cones are definitely a bonus!

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had! All vegan and gluten free. I had the But First, Coffee! (cashew base), Peanut Butter Chip (peanut) and Lava Cake (almond). Perfect flavor profile and texture, not too sweet. Sampled the incredible Pecan Pie flavor. Convenient location and they sell pints in some markets. They also have coconut base, sunflower seed and sorbet choices. Libby and her staff are wonderful, warm people who deserve your business.
