Nice to eat safely. The service worker assured me that the black beans are vegan. I had them with grilled cebolla and they were good. She gave me a huge serving of plátanos maduros too. They also have chick pea soup, and 2 types of rice. Great if you just need to eat some solid food.

The black bean soup was nondescript but filling. I added some hot sauce. It’s Just black beans. (Is it vegan or not as there seems to be some discussion. I guess if they used chicken stock or something like that it wouldn’t be, but let’s not let the perfect to be the enemy of the good. Nobody was able to actually answer that question.). The vegetables were surprisingly good. Just seemed as I asked. They usually can’t seem to resist adding oil which I don’t want. And they were fresh and perfectly cooked. $11 I left feeling full

Yummy vegan options in a vast nothingness - Edit
Black bean soup is vegan, red bean has pig flesh. Had the Cuban nachos (served with pureed black beans and guacamole, served with sour cream that comes on side), also had the yucca fries. All super yummy after a long day of traveling.

Minimal vegan options - beware - Edit
Both bean soups are NOT vegan. Went here following the previous reviews but glad I asked the server before ordering. Your options are pretty much salad, rice, or yucca.
