Disappointing - Edit
I was there on 3 separate occasions, so obviously, I really wanted to like this place. It is located on the corner, in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and about a 5 minute walk from the tram.
Read moreNote: This following is the culmination of those 3 visits at different times over a 2 month period.
The food: Bland. Dry. And the few dessert choices they did have were not very visually appealing at all, which in my opinion, is crucial.
The coffee: Good, but not great
The service: Not welcoming. I recall no smiles, no hello, in fact, very few words were spoken to me at all! They all seemed to be preoccupied with other things behind the counter, so I had to wait for them to just stand still and look at me, so as to be sure that they saw that I was ready to order. And when it was brought out, they just set it down and walked away.
The atmosphere: The thing that stands out the most to me was all the crying babies in strollers. Not a good mix at a library, night club, or a coffee shop.
In summation: I would say that Kringle is exclusively catering to those living in or around the neighborhood, and is not for the well-traveled vegan food connoisseur.

Kringel is an absolute top spot for breakfast, lunch and cakes / pastries. The venue is cozy and well decorated, the food is tasty and good value, and you can even order some alcoholic drinks.
Read moreIt’s also my go-to for pre-ordering typical estonian party essentials such as potato salad and various kringel cakes.

What a lovely place! - Edit
It was so difficult to choose from all the delicious options! We ended up with smoked carrot & avocado and salami & cheese paninis. They were absolutely amazing - perfectly crispy and full of flavour, very balanced. The fresh orange juice was perfect and the house lemonade also lovely. The interior was beautiful and cozy. Will definitely come back!!

This is my local Vegan joint near my place in Tallinn - Edit
I had the panini and it rocked, the cinnamon buns are to die for with a latte.
Read moreThey are very clever in that they focus on classics, Estonian & otherwise and veganize them with the Kringle twist.
They do killer coffee. I love the beautiful wasps flying around the buns.
I love vegan culture man.

Kringel has my heart! It's one of the best vegan places I've ever been (and I come back as often as I can). I highly recommend trying the tofu rillette on sourdough bread and at least one of the salty pies ❤️

Don’t think. Just go here. - Edit
This is my favourite vegan café / bakery in Tallinn, and possibly one of the best cafés / bakeries I’ve ever been too. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere welcoming and the food delicious.
Read moreI came here twice while in Tallinn, once for breakfast and again for a mid-afternoon snack. Both times I was impressed by the food I ordered. For breakfast, I had a “salty” porridge, which was oatmeal made savoury with olives, nutritional yeast, and dried tomatoes. It was great, and so filling. I also had a tasty mushroom (?) pastry and a matcha with soy milk. For my afternoon snack, I had the wonderful potato pancakes, napoleon cake and a takeaway cinnamon bun. All the food I had was incredible and I highly recommend it.
Each of my visits was about €15.
I don’t normally give unconditional recommendations, but this is definitely a place to visit while in Tallinn. The location is a bit out of the way if you’re staying in the old town, but it’s well worth a visit. You can walk here fairly easily from the downtown.

Nice place - Edit
I got the smoked tofu pasta which tasted absolutely incredible, it smelled quite strange though but I’ve never smelled any vegan cheese that doesn’t so it’s not exactly their fault. The price is fair and the venue is cozy but perhaps a bit small, we had to wait a bit to get a place to sit. The location is a bit less central than other vegan places in Tallinn but is definitely worth the tiny extra distance.

Vegan bakery - Edit
The prices are too expensive, that is why I never like going there - it is rather a "Sunday hanging out " than "treating myself regularly" price. The pastry is soft and gooey. They offer pastry, some meals and drinks. In summertimw they have a few tables outside by the street. It is worth booking, it might be full otherwise.

Changed my mind on carrots - Edit
I went here for brunch before my flight back home and it was worth the visit. The carrot avocado panini was amazing and the smoked carrot tasted just like smoked salmon which I was always sceptical about before but after having theirs I want to eat smoked carrot everyday 🥕 the pastry I got was a bit dry, but could just be the one I had, which is why I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5
