A bit disappointing - Edit
Unlike previous reviews it seems they no longer offer the mixed vegetarian traditional czech dishes as a vegan version. There are two vegan options - celeriac patty and potato pancakes which were just ok. Our waiter was a bit grumpy. The location is very nice.

Tradionnal vegan option - Edit
The place look amazing. The terrasse by the river is beautiful and they have some goods (but verry greasy) vegan options. Be carefull, the soups contain meat even if its not one the menu. The potato cake is verry tasty.

Very good food and ambiance - Edit
I took the same veganized food as the other review and really liked it. It was flavorful but never too much! The potato pancake can be veganised and was very good! The people working there were really nice !

I loved the atmosphere of this place, I had the vegetarian dish with the various traditional foods turned veganized. It was very very delicious!

Great Food - Edit
This restaurant has many vegetarian or vegan options. They offer a vegeterian mixed plate, which could be also made vegan. We tried it and every dish was sooo good. Also the staff was very friendly.

Mushroom Kuba was good - Edit
There aren't many vegan options in Krumlov. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. Unfortunately, it is not written which dishes are vegan, but you can ask the staff. I had a mushroom Kuba. Tt was good but a little too salty.

Delicious! - Edit
Thanks to the reviews of the others, I got to experience this lovely authentic Czech veggie plate. I asked for the vegan version of the vegetarian feast, no problem! It was amazing. I loved the buckwheat.

Traditional food - Edit
Friendly staff, I asked for a veganized version of the vegetarian platter. The prepared a plate for two instead of one so it was quite a feast. Some items were better than others but they were all seasoned differently so it was a good opportunity to try several traditional dishes. Beautiful setting just over the river.

Traditional Czech vegan experience - very unique - Edit
We had the garlic soup which is a traditional Czech soup and it’s hard to get it anywhere in vegan version the veggie platter - ask for vegan version without the cheese cake. If you’re tourist and you want to see the really old traditional Czech cuisine, this is a must!:)

Nice location but terrible food - Edit
I won`t recommend anyone eating at this restaurant as they sell badly prepared, old, and horrible food.

good traditional food, beautiful location - Edit
Had a puffed barley dish wish mushrooms and green peas and a mixed salad. Staff was eager to understand me explaining to them what I eat as a vegan and what not but it didn't fully work out because the salad contained cheese. Anyway, I'll give them credits for trying - and the barley dish which had a risotto like texture was really nice. If you dislike garlic and strong seasoning, however, be careful.
Read moreThe restaurant is located beautifully just by the river and even on a sunny day during the peak of high season when the whole small city was flooded with tourists and the restaurant was quite packed it still had a relaxed vibe.
Pros: traditional local food, staff speaks basic English, idyllic and relaxed location
Cons: "vegan" salad with cheese
