Vegan food restaurant in Münster since 2013. No table service: it's wait in line and take your plate to your seat. Serves coffee and food such as avocado roll, falafel salad and sandwich, seasonal vegetable soups, salads with warm toppings, chili sin carne, cakes. Its website has a section listing alternative ingredients for people with specific allergies. Open Mon-Thu 12:00-20:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-21:00, Sun 12:00-20:00.

Nice place to grab a quick meal - Edit
Only inner-city place to be completely vegan. The hayati and falafel are really delicious, the portions are satisfying. Staff is sometimes unfriendly and bathroom is often dirty (well, this might be the clients‘ fault, but it’s nearly always in bad shape!).

I really liked all the meals from Krawummel. Veggies were fresh and tasty. Only the “meat” could be a bit softer, as sometimes it was hard to cut it.

Maybe it was not their day. Our 2 preferred burgers were not in stock. Pils was our of order. When we got weisse instead they gave us alcoholfrei. Then i was getting a regular weisse which they dropped. Got the wrong fries and the wrong sauce. The burger tasted good though (therefore 2 stars). The fries are wayyyyy too expensive (4,90)

I came during lunchtime and the place was very busy. Still the staff was very nice and took the time to give me some advise on what to pick - there were loads of options and I found it difficult to make a choice. In the end I got a mix of various things - see photo. The food was not very sophisticated, but really good. If I lived in the area I was a regular customer for sure!

Krawummel has a variety of different vegan dishes and beverages. They also have amazing desserts like tiramisu or Cupcakes. You can take these to go. You get your meal very fast, even if there are a lot of people. If its very full, the atmosphere can get a little loud, because the service calls your name, when your food is ready. But the food is worth it! Would Recommend!

Years ago the Krawummel was the first and only vegan restaurant in Münster. The dishes were fine and made with love, the place cozy and nice.

The dishes are the same but no longer served and arranged with love, the new creations are boring, the tables are always sticky and dirty--even with only a few customers at the restaurant. The staff screams the names of the customers so they pick up their orders--that's very disturbing and not cozy at all. The toilets are nearly always dirty, one of the taps is broken since about half a year or longer.
I cannot recommend this place any longer. If you want good and tasty falafel, go to another place--f. i. Al Hayat just 300 m away. If you want to eat seasonal, fresh, creative vegan food, go to Bucks.

My first night in Münster and I was delighted to find such a good vegan restaurant. I had the potato based burger and a salad. All fresh and tasty. On a warm night it was good to be able to sit by an open window.

They have lots of different dishes. One looks more interesting than the other. I had difficulties to decide. It was very good and maybe a little too much, still, we couldn't stop eating.

They have plenty of people coming in all the time, so it's a little crowded. And they call out the ready orders by the customers name, so it's also a little loud as well, but the food was worth it!
I would go there any time again.

nice place close to downtown - Edit
Krawummel is probably the closest to downtown Münster so it's easy to walk there during an afternoon of shopping. I didn't really liked the salads they sell but I also haven't tried the bowls they have so I don't know about that.
Read moreI usually have the steaky-k which tastes great but is kinda hard to eat - if you're burger still looks like an actual burger after you ate half of it: I admire you. Still tastes pretty good (although I would say they should leave the bread bun in the middle of the burger away).
All in all it's a pretty good place to bring your non-vegan friends. I met this irish guy who didn't know it's all vegan and he and his dead didn't even noticed it so I guess that is a pretty good sign!
The staff is nice and the food quality equals the price, I usually spend about 10 -12 euro for a meal with a drink.

If you are craving a good vegan burger, you should go here! They serve quite large ones with fresh ingredients (including fresh sprouts, which I love) and you have the choice of 4 patties (I loved the potato one). Also, they are at a very central location in Münster.

Read moreThe thing I like the most is that you can't see that this is a 100% vegan restaurant from the outside. So a couple of people come in and try some of the food.
One thing to say: Don't order to much. Most of the food is very filling.

The falafel sandwich with mango sauce was absolutely amazing! And not expensive at all, €5,50 for a pretty big portion. The only thing we missed were some sweet dishes something like bagels or bread with jam maybe. They do have cupcakes and muffins that look really good!
