Worth repeat visits

Komune is in the Ovolo Southside hotel where I stayed for a few nights and so was able to sample breakfast (3x), lunch (2x) and dinner (x1) so I feel qualified to say the food and service was consistently good. The menu is vegan and vegetarian, part of the Ovolo chain's commitment to having only vegan or vegetarian restaurants and worth supporting for that alone. Good variety in the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. My favourite dish was the pasta with kale, sun-dried tomato, capers, pine nuts and chili flakes on the lunch menu.

The fact that is has a vegetarian restaurant is not a reason in itself to support a multinational corporation. Incidentally I think Ovolo well and truly gave up on its vegetarian thing a while ago. Mr Percy at Ovolo 1888 in Sydney stopped being veg, no doubt among others.
