Komeda is my favourite place on earth - Edit
Has the best sandwich and burger in the world! Please come here and try the avocado teriyaki burger. I have been back three times now it’s that good. The flavours are just unreal! The soy ham cutlet is just so good also. Staff are super lovely, I can’t recommend this place enough!!

So many options! - Edit
The miso cheese burger was kind of basic but good, the home-made coffee jelly great. Plenty of seating and easy ordering from an English menu with a tablet. Would like to come again!

So good we went back for more the next day! - Edit
It was the last two days of our 3-week Japan trip and we were running out of options for vegan dining near our hotel. We decided on this place for dinner one night since we had tried most of the other all-vegan restaurants around already. It was an order at your table style restaurant with an iPad-like tablet. The menu was pretty extensive and we were happy to see that everything was vegan.
Read moreOn our first visit for dinner, we ordered the AvoTeri burger and the Tartar Wasabi burger to share, along with a side order of Fritters and potatoes. The Fritters and potatoes arrived first and they fries were nothing special. The fritters were interesting, not in a bad way. When our burgers arrived, we noticed there were fries on the plate as well. Had we known this, we probably would have ordered a different side so as not to have so many fries. The Tartar Wasabi burger was reminiscent of a fish sandwich and it was GOOD! The AvoTeri burger was also very good. The teriyaki sauce was not too overpowering and the subtle avocado flavor was distinguishable. The patty on the AvoTeri was also very "beef"-like, so it really did resemble a burger. The buns were super soft, also. We really enjoyed the meal and decided it could be on our visit again list, if we ever returned to Tokyo.
So the next day after coffee, we were trying to figure out where to go for lunch. After remembering the meal the previous evening and how extensive the menu was at KOMEDA is, we decided to return. Our second visit, we ordered the Miso Cheese burger and the Soy Ham Cutlet Sandwich to share and a Fried soymeat with sauce on the side. Again, the burger was very good. The sandwich was okay. The cutlet was very reminiscent of spam and the sauce on the fried soymeat was pretty strong. We again enjoyed the meal, but I think I'd advise ordering the burgers over anything else.
This restaurant is located in what appeared to be some type of event space. Service was very prompt, friendly and efficient. Everything is done with the tablet and there is a "summon staff" button to have someone come over if there are questions. Even after dining and going to pay, there is a machine that actually collects the money if paying in cash. This might be standard at some places in Japan, but I had never encountered it before.
Easy 5-star rating for an extensive menu and good food!
Pros: Efficient, friendly service, Great food, Extensive menu

Perfect for breakfast - Edit
I had the pancakes and hot chocolate, the pancakes aren’t quite the soufflé style but still delicious. Lots on the menu to try, will be returning on my next trip.

Very good selection of options & tasty - Edit
Nice open restaurant with lots of seating, no queue when we went at lunch time on a Friday. We got the Soy cultet sandwich and the curry burger. Both very good taste. Curry burger tasted like a katsu curry which was nice.

Good concept, slight letdown - Edit
I like the black coffee at the regular Komeda’s and was very eager to try this place. We ordered the wasabi tartar “ippin” burger (comes with fries), pancakes, and a Vienna coffee. The tartar sauce was probably the best part, but the sandwich itself tasted like mediocre fast food, and the fries were pale, soggy, and bland. The pancakes were tasty enough (but nearby Ain Soph does pancakes MUCH better), and the coffee was fine. I love the concept and while I hope other chains will test out their own plant based branches, for me the taste/price ratio did not work and I’ll stick to other places.
Read morePros: All vegan (but there are contamination warnings), Non vegans will probably also like it, Vegan Vienna coffee was good
Cons: Tasted like fast food, not cafe food, Drinks are very pricy

Great mix of everything! - Edit
This place is owned by Komeda which is known for their specialty coffee, and this is one of their dining projects. They don't disappoint at all! Everything I had was amazing, their cutlet ham sandwiches are probably the most popular thing they sell but their burgers, nuggets, sides and drinks were all amazing. You order from the tablet on the side of your table which might take a moment to get used to, they also have a ton of individual seating which is great for solo travellers!

Cons: A little pricy, but it is Ginza

Vegan Store of Komeda Is Chain - Edit
This is the vegan Store of the famous Komeda Is Chain. We really liked all the food and the prices are really good. The Service is fantastic: we made a mistake ordering and aomeone came and explained us that we can have our food cheaper If we order it as a breakfast Set and that the Toast we ordered extra actually is for free If we order it in the set. This was extremly polite! The food was really good and we enjoyed everything. The staore was kinda empty so we directly got a seat.

The restaurant is located in a large building. (Therefore not accessible from the outside)
