Delicious, very narrow - Edit
Good if you’re coming by yourself but wouldn’t recommend for groups. There are 6 stool seats and it is very narrow.

Amazing food, has vegan bread! - Edit
This cute little restaurant on the second floor is about a 5min walk from Sakae Station. I ordered the Nasu (eggplant) muffin sandwich and a soup, and both were very tasty. I would love to come back and try their other vegan options. While the restaurant is not completely vegan, they had several vegan options, and even sell vegan baked goods like vegan melon pan (a rarity) and vegan bread.
Read morePlease note that restaurant is pretty tiny and can accommodate perhaps a maximum of 6 ppl. If you go with a group of people, I highly recommend calling and ordering your food in advance as it takes some time for them to prepare the food.
Pros: Several tasty options, Sells vegan baked goods
Cons: Tiny, Not all vegan

Wonderful 'hole in the wall' cafe - Edit
Kome-hana bakery/café, Nagoya, Thursday 29/6/2017 4pm
Read moreA short walk from Sakae station (see photo of map), located on the 2nd floor, partly under a stairway. Just a six seater café selling a selection of gluten-free rice breads and some cakes as well a lunch. Although we once again arrived after the lunch hours, the owner prepared us a lovely meal – tomato minestrone soup, okra cutlet, mini burger (he called it an English muffin) and a small fresh salad vege bowl. All tasted good. Owner spoke English haltingly but we were able to communicate beyond just the menu. Is a former art student and has a small amount of art on display. View from two seats by the window over the road and under the Expressway but quiet inside. Price very reasonable at 2500Yen for two of us, including an extra ‘burger’ and a slice of cake. Another good find!
Cons: friendly (owner spoke English, haltingly), nice atmosphere even though by major roads, food good and very reasonably priced
