Weekly market taking place in the same shopping village as the Living Foods store. Vendors sell fresh fruits and products as well some prepared foods. Open Wed 4:00pm-5:30pm.
Worthwhile with a lot of interesting local produce - Edit
Even though this market was small, they had a lot of options and reasonable prices. The produce was much cheaper than the grocery store and you get to meet the people who grew most of it.
p.s. I heard about a fruit stand on the corner of Poipu Road and Ala Keioki Bypass Road that has even better prices but haven't been yet.
This farmers market sort of pops up on a Wednesday at 4 pm. We got there at 4.30 pm and it was in full swing. Tables are jotted along the whole inside walkway of the shopping village.
Along with freshly picked tropical fruits and vegetables, there were a lot of artisans showing off their wares. Including fresh baked bread, macadamia nuts in their shells, filled croissants, spices and rubs, jams and jellies, big slices of fresh savory and sweet pies, yummy soups from a published chef, local salts, sauces and salsa. This is what we saw in January, depending on the season, vendors may change.

Pros: local vendors, wide selection, fair pricing
Cons: cash only
