The burger is a must try. The vegan ailo - I asked for extra - mixed with the pickled onions, vegan cheese, and healthy greens was impeccable.

This is a sweet little place with a great view and tasty, clearly marked vegan options. The fries are really good and the burger is a comfort food classic. The tofu nachos are good as well. This is a new lunchdate option for us - yay! I can't wait to try the island bowl next time.

Good Vegan Options - Edit
One of the only places on Oak Island that has good vegan options, and they’re clearly labeled as vegan, not vegetarian which is rare. The owners of this restaurant also own Cafe Koa and Kai Joes which are also great, but Koko Cabana 100% has the best vegan options out of the three. The vegan dishes are flavorful and it shows that they put thought into the ingredient choices.

Great options, especially considering the limited vegan beach options we’ve encountered so far. We had the tofu nachos and the plant burger. Both were delicious! The impossible burger was well seasoned and had great toppings. The tofu was crispy and coated with a delicious aioli sauce. Love the view and drinks, too!

Ordered takeout from here - helpful that they had multiple vegan options on the menu! I ordered the cauliflower steak and was a little disappointed (could have been softer and more flavorful), but others in my group enjoyed the veggie burger and island bowl.

These owners run Kai-Joe's, Cafe Koa, and Koko Cabana, and they're pretty much the only places to get vegan food around OKI and SP. They're so delicious and the owner Austin is so friendly. Koko Cabana is amazing!

Great Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
One of the very few places on Oak Island with delicious and healthy vegan options. I had the Tofu nachos the first night and the island Bowl with Tofu the second night. Both amazing! (I uploaded photos of both). Menu changes often so check Facebook, although sometimes that’s not the most current either.
