Don't come! - Edit
There were only 3 tables eating. We stood there for 15 minutes and did not even get a "I'll be right with you".

Pros: None
Cons: 15 minutes standing, Not a single "I'll be right with you", Completely understaffed

Good tofu - Edit
They were understaffed for lunch so the service wasn’t great, but I appreciated the multiple vegan options (even though nothing is specifically marked as vegan). It was a bit pricey for what it was, but the food was yummy. Enjoyed the miso soup and tofu.

So Yummy! - Edit
We indicated that we were vegan eaters and they said they can accommodate. They also had vegetarian choices on the menu. Tofu was cooked great in our dishes, I had the Pad Thai with tofu and no egg, it was great!

First meal was better.... - Edit
Second time here (first time ordered stir fry veggies and tofu and was better). I ordered the curry with vegetables and tofu. I was disappointed with a thick pasty consistency. Picked out the onions and peppers, but not happy. Glad to have a vegan choice for restaurants but this dish needs better attention.

Cons: Tasted and felt like corn starch in the curry

Good Vegan Option - Edit
Veggie options in general outside of major metropolitan areas in Texas are few. So it was nice to find this Japanese restaurant offering several vegan options on South Padre Island. While we’ve only sampled the vegan appetizers and the Stir Fried Vegatables with Tofu, we plan to be back to sample more offerings as what we’ve had so far is excellent.
Read moreBe sure to tell them you are Vegan as otherwise the Vietnamese Spring Roll we ordered would have contained shrimp.
Pros: Most Vegan options of any restaurant on Island
Cons: Just be sure to tell them you are Vegan, No brown rice options
