Op het Sowieso-tuinterras is het in alle rust vertoeven. Met een volledig vegan eetkaart is het zorgeloos kiezen. Naar wat ik kon zien bij de andere tafels, waren de tosti’s erg basic. Daarom koos ik voor de pancakes en die waren razend lekker! De pancakes, scrambled tofu en hummus waren vol van smaak. De vegan feta was een perfecte aanvulling op het smakenpalet. Eén minpunt: het duurde lang (zeker 40’) voor we ons eten kregen.

The drinks are not standard vegan, but the food is: the cakes, as well as all the lunch options. We had some lemonades, lattes and tostis. All good!
Read moreIt's a busy place, but very cosy. Laptop users are asked to only take place on the long tables. There is a green city garden too where you can enjoy your drinks.
Right across the street there is an underground parking. We only made a quick stop in Breda. We parked here, crossed the street and took a quick sip and bite. If we would have had the time, we would have sat back and relaxed a bit more :)

One of my all time favourites and a place I always visit when in Breda! They have an all vegan breakfast and lunch menu, vegan cakes vary daily. All coffees can be ordered with oat, almond, soy or coconut milk, sadly the standard here is cow milk. In the summer you can even sit outside in the small, but super cosy courtyard.

The best vegan high tea 😍 - Edit
Went to Koffiebar Sowieso for the first time about two years ago and ordered ‘what they are having’ (table next to us) because it looked amazing. Turns out it came with a second round of vegan desserts and sweets, too! Best experience ever - came back for the high tea a couple of times.

Easy-going, homey place in a quiet street in the city center. Went there for tea and vegan cake. I had the chocolate-raspberry cake, which was pure sweetful delight! Service was friendly. Would rate it with 4,5 stars if the status in Happycow was up-to-date. Happycow had vegetarian option status, but it's fully vegetarian (status change pending).

In corona times, this place is only open for take-away. We visited yesterday and luckily the sun was shining, so we could sit outside in the city center. Because they're located in the center its easy to find. We had the sweet potato brownie with peanuts on it. And banana bread that was put on a grill to heat it a bit. It was super delicious! I'm a baker myself and was happily surprised.
