Blue burger - Edit
It was vegan friendly. Not too many options, but since they also serve meat, I guess that's fair.
Read moreI had the vegan burger, which was blue?? But with beyond meat, I enjoyed it. The portion wasn't all that big for the price, but you can't really eat more anyways.

Delicious vegan poke bowl. Plenty of veggie and vegan options. Can recommend the passion fruit lemonade.

Loved it - Edit
We absolutely loved it! It’s a very cute cafe hidden from the main touristic beach promenade. The server was awesome and very friendly. I asked them to make the açaí bowl vegan, which they did and it was very delicious and filling. We also had a vegan matcha latte which we like a lot. I would definitely recommend!

Nice place - Edit
This is probably a better choice for veggies than vegans, there wasn’t heaps of vegan choices. I had a really nice açai bowl though.

Average - Edit
It was okay, but nothing special. I didn’t like the bread they used in the vegan bagel (it was kind of bitter for me?), but my friend liked it, so it’s a matter of personal preference. The toppings were all right, but nothing impressive, and the coffee was average. The interior is beautiful.

Would definitely give 5 starts if I could - Edit
There were various vegan options, pancakes, bagel, burger, mushroom and spinach toast and a few other bits. The vibe inside is very chilled and looks really cool. Loved the food! Am going back.

It’s a vibe 🌻✨ - Edit
The space is so pretty and chill, I could just be there for hours and hours. Pancakes and drinks are great, with very reasonable prices considering the space and location.

Mediocre but nice decorations - Edit
My first choice was out and the tofu bread was uninspired. Plus I was going through some pics online with them to figure out the dish and still it turned out completely different from the photo (eg missing the side salad)

Great place to drink coffee and chill - Edit
They have a huge area in the back where you can sit outside and drink your coffee. The staff was very friendly. I had the vegan bowl and it was nothing too special but still delicious. The Coffee tasted very good. I would recommend coming here if you’re at the beach and are looking for a place to sit down and have a quick lunch break.

Be careful with the bill - Edit
We went there twice last autumn and I got the vegan pancakes and drinks both times. Unfortunately only the second time I realised that they routinely charged at the till more for the vegan pancakes compared to the price on the menu (menu 5,50€, at the till 6,50€ for no reason, no extra topping). They apologised, but make sure you double-check the price you pay, cause they might have just left the higher price in the system cause nobody notices on group bills.
Read moreAlso, the second time the pancakes were dry and with not enough fruit, impossible to chew dueto the amount of very dense peanut butter.
Oh, and they also surcharge you for plant-based milk, which you can now find at the supermarket for the same price as the dairy milk. So annoying.

Cons: Scam price at the till for the vegan pancakes, Dry pancakes, 0,50€ Plant milk surcharge

My favourite place in Caparica - Edit
Every time I come to Portugal to visit my family, I stay in Caparica. As a remote worker, I like to work in coffees or cowork spaces. I discovered Koa in the summer of 2021, and I started coming here pretty much every day. In the summer, the terrace outside is the perfect spot to work. In the winter, the inside is warm and cozy.
Read moreAs a vegan, I can tell you that there are plenty of options here, and the food is great. For breakfast, I highly recommend the vegan pancakes. They come with fresh fruit and jam. There's also a vegan mushroom tapioca or a vegan poke bowl for lunch or brunch. They also have some nice choices for toast, and even a vegan Pavlova for dessert if you want. All the drinks have non-dairy choices, and all the staff is so sweet that they can help you make the perfect vegan meal for you.
I totally recommend this place!
