Große vegane Auswahl zum Durchprobieren - Edit
Das vegane Korean Fried Chicken war lecker, aber bisschen fettig. Die Variante mit Blumenkohl ist besser. Das Restaurant ist richtig schön eingerichtet.

Good, not mind-blowing - Edit
3.5 stars if HappyCow would let me. I think I let the hype raise my expectations too much. I had both the tofu/cauliflower fried chicken combo and the tteokbokki. Both were quite good, sure, but were they radically different from other Korean restaurants I’ve ate at? No, not really.
Read moreFor that matter, since the gochujang was easily the dominant flavor of both dishes, it didn’t taste much different from what I made at home. I did, however, definitely not once the €22 bill compared to cooking at home.

Vegan Korean in Hamburg - Edit
I particularly liked the Korean restaurant. It's a unique place, with a very interesting and bright decor. And ordering is done in an unusual way: you write your order on a piece of paper with a pen and hand it to the waiter, writing your table number in a circle. The attendant spoke a good English. Delicious dishes, although in not very large quantities, super tasty, very Korean and slightly overpriced.

The sacred place in Schanze - Edit
Probably the most iconic vegan restaurant in Hamburg. Interior is very photogenic, staff was very lovely and super polite, and clientel was amazing as well. The menu seems small but still it's super hard to choose, especially if you love Korean food. They have more known staples like gimbab, mandu, bibimbap and ddokbokki (behold of the chili sign, they're not playing), but also more home-style items like kimchi jeon. Everything we tasted here so far was amazing. Only in my dakgalbi there was very little tiny rice cake pieces, next time Imma take the ddeokbokki then.

great food - Edit
We ordered four tapas items to share between two people - tempura, spring rolls, potstickers, and potatoes. All of it was tasty, especially the potstickers and tempura. Seated right away on a Saturday night, no reservation. Cozy, casual atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Super leckeres koreanisches Essen 😍 - Edit

Awesome Korean food - Edit
This restaurant manages to give you the real streetfood experience and super delicious food. The main course was so filling, i could not even try the Tapas. The imported drinks are pure sugar but something special, i liked them. Also no one pushes you to order, you can take your time to choose something and ring the bell when you are ready to order. Great place, highly recommended.

Kkokki - Edit
Amazing restaurant for introverts. You have to order by writing it on paper and then ring the bell to call the staff to grab that paper. No one ask you if you are ready to order many times. Food is tasty. Many authentic dishes to choose from.

Amazing food! - Edit
Went there on a rainy, cold summer day. The Suntofu Kimchi Jjigae was just perfect for the weather, hot, spicy and delicious! A perfect cozy meal to start. We also shared the Kkokki NoNo Chicken combo with tofu and cauliflower - the soy garlic soy sauce was absolute perfection. It still makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Both the tofu and cauliflower were fried to perfection, perfectly crispy on the outside and coated in that delicious sauce. The drinks were really good as well, Rose Kiss was really refreshing and the Mango NoNo Lassi was just a dream. Would definitely recommend and trust I will be there again next time I’m in Hamburg!

Friendly, all vegan but won't go again - Edit
Friendly staff, buttons to call them. Street food style restaurant with a pretty confusing menunof you are not familiar with the terminology of the Korean cuisine.
Read moreMy sister liked the Korean sodas whereas to me they were just artificial and disgusting.
We thought the food taste & quality was not worth the prices and actually didn't find them tasty.
The place does have quite some crows going on now and then, but I don't think we would come back.
We had the 39 as a main dish and the rice cakes and sausages from the tapas menu.
They accepted cars payment, but not amex.

Decent but not special - Edit
The food was ok, but nothing special really. I would only go there if you're very hungry, don't want to walk and you're in the area.

Mehr als eine Erfahrung wert! - Edit

The Monopoly On Korean Fried Chicken - Edit
Korean food is already a main staple to every self-proclaimed foodie as Kimchi and Tteokbokki have entered the vocabulary of almost every nation.
Read moreDespite a lot of its cuisine being vegan by default you have to look far and wide for vegan alternatives for dishes like Korean Fried Chicken or Bulgogi. That is why Kkokki is a must-try, since they tend to the neglected recipes and turnt them vegan for us to enjoy.
Ever since I‘ve been there I couldn‘t find vegan Korean Fried Chicken anywhere, but I‘d be curious if anyone could even make it as good as they do. The prices are affordable and the dishes encourage sharing among friends if you want to order a variety. They also have a bunch of fun drinks.

Perfect - Edit
Easily the best vegan restaurant in Hamburg, The fried chicken combo is godlike. The gimbab is great, I love the fried tofu salad too. Great atmosphere and great staff. I don't eat out a lot but if I do it's usually here.
