Disappointing

Despite advertising muesli could be made vegan ( for an extra $4???) there seemed to be problems with this. No coconut yoghurt available. Apparently we had to wait 10 mins to “take the yoghurt out” later got told it was in a different department. Very confusing. Spoke with the owner.
Long and short we had to wait 15 mins to order, by that time many others had come in and ordered until we were “allowed” to order. The muesli was ok but was served in a bowl the size of a saucer.
My recommendation would be to steer clear of this cafe if you are looking for a vegan friendly place.

Pros: Owner gave us free coffees as customer recovery.

Cons: Expensive , Limited options

Yum

Despite the other review, there were no vegan options on the menu or specials board but the waitress was accommodating and changed a vegetarian dish to vegan (roasted vegetables with hummus and pita, I wasn’t expecting much but it was delicious!) A little bit pricey, but worth it as the staff were lovely and food very good. My husband (not vegan or vegetarian) said his meal was amazing as well, so good option for mixed diners.

Veg on Request

Alright, full disclosure - I attended a pre-opening event with friends and family of the proprietors, so know that my review comes with that disclaimer. That said, while there are limited options that are explicitly spelled out on the menu (the region is adapting to vegan ideas a bit more slowly than the big cities), Kerri is more than happy to adapt menu items or come up with something delicious on the spot. She understands vegan cooking and I was certainly not hungry. She's also said that she will include vegan option on the daily specials board, so that will vary. One night was a fantastic roasted cauliflower steak with a vegan bechamel sauce, and the following morning was muesli with coconut yogurt. Plus they have a selection of non-dairy milks to accompany any of your coffee or tea desires.

Definitely recommend stopping in and asking for what you want - they'll be more than happy to make sure you're well taken care of!

Pros: Delicious food., Knowledgeable chef., Willingness to make veg options any time.

Cons: No dedicated vegan options on the menu.
