Vegan Oasis in Odate, Akita - Vegan Sweets, Coffee, and Cute Cat Goods

This cafe is run by a young vegan Japanese woman. Drinks and sweets are all vegan. The menu may change depending on the season. When I went today, there were two kinds of cake: apple and chocolate. Everything was delicious!

The inside of the shop is cozy and there is a nice view from the window. The owner also makes cat-themed crafts made of wood. They were so cute so I bought a bunch of them. Some of the money goes towards a cat rescue charity.

There isn't much in this area for vegans, so this is truly an oasis! We stopped by here after having lunch in Hirosaki (where we live) on our way to Kazuno, Akita (where we are staying at Yuzaka - a vegan-friendly inn).

Highly recommend this cafe if you're in the area! Be sure to check their schedule on Instagram before coming. They are usually open on Saturdays and sometimes Thursdays.

Pros: Delicious sweets and coffee, Nice atmosphere, Cute cat goods and nice owner

Cons: Not open most days
