so so - Edit
The staff was friendly, and the place was nice.
Read moreHowever, the vegan offer is *very* limited, so would not go here again as a vegan. I had some vegetables and a mixed salad. Both tasted very well, though.
The mixed salad had some beans.
Pros: local vibe
Cons: few options

Vegan food!!!! - Edit
It is quite difficult to find vegan food in this area. So we were happy to stumble upon this place.
Read moreThey have 1 vegan dish, a kind of potato scramble with vegetables and a salad. It wasn't on the menu they gave us, but after mentioning we are vegans the waiter offered this dish.
It was very tasty. So we were happy.
Friendly service.
Pros: A vegan dish! Friendly service.
Cons: Only 1 option

Great evening - Edit
I had a very good dinner at Kirchenwirt. The service was very good, the waitresses were open minded and they knew, what vegan means. I ate roasted potatoes with vegetables and a mixes salad. It was marked as vegan. They offer also typical vegetarian Austrian dishes. Due to high season they had also a vegan ice-cream (toffee), what was a great surprise. Compared to other restaurants in Strobl it was also quite cheap. We will sure visit this restaurant again, if we travel to Strobl.
