This is a lovely guesthouse with excellent facilities.

The breakfast menu is wide ranging and vegan options are clearly marked.
There is a fridge in the rooms with bottled Buxton water and a bowl of fruit.
I would highly recommend a visit.

A truly lovely guest house, we felt very lucky to have managed to book their last room for 2 nights.
Read moreOur room was excellent, with a feel of luxury about everything we found for our use, from the bowl of fresh fruit and exceptional tea selection, to the fluffiest towels, toiletries, slippers, robes, the list is long but everything provided was of a high quality.
Then there was breakfast! An extraordinary menu, with very generous selections of perfectly cooked dishes, together with excellent croissants, prepared fruits, a wonderful fresh smooth/ juices menu, including kale based or fruit based but all really really good.
Plus amazingly, everything we had was vegan! The owners are attentive, skilled, efficient, generous and considerate.
The location is delightful, a leafy street of large Victorian houses within easy walking distance of the Buxton opera house, botanical greenhouses and Georgian crescent.
A pleasure to stay in such a well run guest house where the owners' attention to detail and a desire for the highest standards, made for a comfortable stay.
We will not hesitate to book again the next time we travel to or through the Peak District. It quite literally could not have been any better.
