Excellent food in The Hills District - Edit
Love the food every time! Brilliant Vietnamese food. Perfectly balanced with mock meat, tofu and fresh veg options in the menu. The sole improvement would be removing the option to add egg noodles!

Good atmosphere and view but food could be improved - Edit
Review of the dishes I tried:
Read morepho was underwhelming, strong turnip flavour and I couldn’t really taste the spices. Would be better if the broth was richer and more umami (like golden lotus)
Truffle fried rice lacked truffle flavour. It was ok.
Banh canh cua (crab soup) was really good though

Pros: Nice view and restaurant , Variety , Freshness
Cons: Pho was underwhelming , Only takeaway Wednesday and Thursday

Good solid option, all veggie & can be veganified - Edit
So I suppose people just need to know what they are coming to. I saw a review recently that ground my gears bagging out Green Sprouts Vegetarian in Neutral Bay for not enough fresh and too much faux meat. These are restaurants that are emulating omnivorous Asian restaurants with, wait for it, faux meats, complete understand what you are coming to eat before dropping a 1 star review for no reason.
Read moreAnyway good place, you’ll be swimming in options. I was torn being here the first time because I love Banh Mi but was with a friend so wanted to try other things as well. In the end we shared a Bi Cuon is tofu ice paper rolls and I had a Bun Bo Hue, Spicy soup with rice noodles. Soup was ok, but oily, my usual gripe and tbh wasn’t very spicy at all so that was a bit of a let down because let’s face it a spicy soup should live up to its name.
Parking can be a challenge, we parked I the parking garage next door that’s associated with the offices, of which most are allocated already so it’s not easy. Lots of other restaurants here as well, so the parking near the restaurants is often full to bursting and isn’t large anyway. If you park in the multi story car park you need to go back in through the front here you drive your car in even if you came out a fire exit, pro tip for newbies, got me some exercise working that out.
Pros: All vegetarian, easy to veganify, Good size plenty of seating indoor and out, Great range of choices
Cons: Parking can be a challenge

Fit for a King - Edit
Really delicious and affordable lunch here!
Read moreThe dry stirfried rice noodles with soy beef had a very subtle flavour but was very tasty. The noodles, beef, and julienned snow peas were beautifully wok charred. I've seen that with noodles before but never beef or vegetables, and it made a huge difference.
The banh canh cua, also quite a subtle flavour, but delicious. I loved the tofu roll slices, and "fish" balls etc.
The bun rieu was very good, again the tofu roll slices etc were very good.
The banh mi was ok, the main flavour was mayo, and although there was the traditional fresh salad and coriander, there was quite alot of shredded chickn, but it wasn't flavourful.
I would definitely come here again.
Pros: noodle soups, stirfried noodles, affordable suburban prices

Never coming here again - Edit
I have had food here quite a lot and tonight was no different but I was told today that I had to wait outside in the freezing cold for my order. Even though there was no one side the manager would not let me sit inside. Dreadful customer service.

Nice hidden spot - Edit
Currently open for take-away only; though they were very happy for me to sit on their lovely dining balcony overlooking the river and eat out of my takeaway container.
Read moreQuite tucked away and a bit tricky to find. (Hint: walk towards the river; there’s a water spout in the river just across the carpark from them)
All menu items seem to be vegan by default, with the option to add egg or swap to egg noodles as an extra on some items.
Great food and lovey staff.

Laksa and spicy soup were amazing and massive! Green curry was delicious, the fried tofu in it was to die for. Was really cheap for such massive bowls! My boyfriend also had their homemade ice tea which was really good. Lovely service too, would come again :)

Average and too expensive - Edit
I ordered a curry under the rice dishes on the menu. I was surprised that the bowl of white rice was an additional charge when I went to pay. It was $17.90 for a small bowl of rice and a small serving of curry. Way too much.

Love this place! - Edit
This restaurant is located where Fountain Vegetarian used to be (closed now) for those who used to dine there. My partner and I were SO happy to find that another vegetarian place had opened up. It was really quiet, we were the only couple there for a long time, as this restaurant wouldn’t really get a lot of customer flow during week nights based on where it is located. The staff were so friendly and lovely, she explained that the whole menu is vegan however you can add egg if you like. We got the satay skewers, crispy veg chicken and stir fry black pepper soy pieces and they were all DELICIOUS! We were both extremely full and for both of us it cost less than $40. Will definitely be going back!!

Phõ sure would eat here again - Edit
The food here was excellent, most things were vegan and clearly marked.
Read moreThe pho was exceptional with a healthy hint of star anise, plenty of noodles and assortment of mock meats, including Vietnamese vegan gluten roll.
If you live in this area or find yourself out in the suburbs as we did I'd recommend checking this place out.
It's pretty close to the Bella Vista metro station.
Pros: Vegan options clearly marked
Cons: Not a lot of parking
