Please delete from happy cow. The girl at the window doesn't even know what vegan is, and the dairy free option has marshmallows in it. This place shouldn't be on this ap at all

Thought they had soft serve - Edit

ame here cuz i heard they had orange soft serve. turns out there’s only one flavor of hard ice cream😜

I Wish They Had More Vegan Options - Edit

Stopped in to King Kone because I had heard that they had vegan soft serve. Unfortunately, their soft serve machines were down, and I didn’t get to try it. Instead, I had a baby-sized cone of their one dairy-free scooped flavor: Oat Milk Cookie Dough Chip. I was pleasantly surprised that the base of the ice cream had an almost-butter pecan flavor to it, making it far more interesting than your average vanilla. So, my experience was a good one, and I enjoy the old-time ice cream stand feel of the place. I just wish they had more vegan flavor options!

We're going for ice cream! - Edit

As someone who couldn't eat ice cream out as a kid (was vegan back then!) it's nice to have the option to share a traditional American summertime treat with my kid. Yes, it's sugar, but if you don't mind that, it's delicious. They are having good response to their vegan soft serve; maybe if we all encourage them, they might add more options including something healthier.

Pros: added their first vegan option!, easy to find location with long hours, offered a free sample before ordering

Cons: would prefer a true fruit ice cream not all sugar
