Overall: The Hive Mind w/ cashew ricotta is the best vegan pizza I've had in town since WB Pizza closed in 2020. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Service-Service fell a little short of what was expected. We weren't provided plates with our pizza at first, and our drinks weren't refilled in a timely manner. The water pitcher for the table at least gave us water in between refills.
Quality-The strongest point of the visit. The Hive Mind was delicious. We loved it! The pizza dough was good enough to eat by itself, but combined with the fusion of toppings it was a treat!
Value- It's not the most expensive vegan pizza I've had, but not the cheapest either. Marked down slightly because because building your own pizza is more expensive.
Vegan Options- The restaurant had 2 vegan options on the menu, and they were clearly labelled. Additionally you could build your own pizza. To be rated more highly I would have liked to see additional vegan items to choose from on the menu, since building your own pizza doesn't cover an 18" pizza, and the build your own pricing is even worse on value. Also other pizza places have vegan breadsticks/garlic sticks/cheese sticks. This was notably missing here.

The space is really awesome. There are two delicious dedicated vegan pizzas on the menu (Hive Mind and Vegan Pile), but of course any pizza can be made vegan if you sub soy mozz or cashew ricotta for the normal mozzarella.

We got both of the vegan pizzas and couldn’t have asked for a better combination of toppings. Really cute place with cool artwork and they were playing Disney movies in the background. They also gave us a really cute to-go box that people on the street kept asking us about.

Got the ‘Hive Mind’ - Edit
Shared the Hive Mind (added the cashew ricotta), one of their 2 vegan specialty pizzas, with a non-veg friend and both of us said it was one of the best pizzas we’ve had in our lives.

Delicious but it’s so thin. Also with they’d add more topping to make up for the thinness. My family and I eat here often and when I order the greco salad the size is never consistent. I ordered a small once then ordered larges going forward. Most times I order they give me a small sized quantity for a large sized salad. Guess it depends on who’s making the salad that day.
Read moreThe pepperoni is spot on. The crust in delicious and so is the cheese. I just with they delivered. The weight of the pizza was light so you do have to eat a lot to get full.
Love them just wish they’d be more consistent about the salad size so people aren’t paying for a large and getting a small.

Great Pizza - Edit
This is my favorite pizza place in Indy. They have the best gluten-free/vegan crust I’ve ever had. They have a vegan pizza in the menu (vegan pile) and a couple vegan cheese options. Good salads and they will customize to remove meat or cheese. GF/Vegan brownie last time I was in that was really good too. I’ve only had Togo but they are always friendly.

Read moreI ordered the Hive. It's a vegan mozzerella with vegan pepperoni. Very flavorful with a little spice. I was so happy to see they actually had real pizza not just a vegetable based one. I dont like thin crust pizza, I prefer normal thick bits like the ones from pizza hut but it was still good. A bit pricey though.

There are a small handful of vegan pizza options but they are not very flavorful. They have a couple pizzas that could easily be made appealing to vegans by swapping out dairy cheese for their cashew ricotta, but they don’t allow “substitutions”. The service is not good and the staff is stand-offish. Altogether, one of my most unpleasant restaurant experiences that made me feel self-conscious about being vegan. A few tweaks and it could be very good in the future, though.

Get the cashew ricotta! - Edit
The cashew ricotta is AMAZING! They have a vegan pepperoni that I have yet to try, but only because I always order the Vegan Pile (because it’s so good). The crust is good, sauce is good, toppings are good. They have two pizzas that are vegan as they come and then you can also create your own.

A Vegan’s Pizzeria - Edit
This is a go to for pizza cravings. King Dough’s firebrick oven creates masterpieces. My family always comes her for birthdays/events and have never been let down! This place’s food and aesthetic are both amazing! The Vegan Pile pizza is hands down the best with their dairy-free cheese!
