Best vegetarian sushi ever. - Edit
Two pages of menu devoted to incredibly creative vegan and vegetarian choices. We’ve come here for at least ten years and recently they have added this extensive whole food plant based option. Bravo!

Scrumptious sushi! - Edit
The mushroom sushi is so divine -I could have eaten 4 rolls! I love that they have a separate vegetarian menu with clearly marked vegan items.

Incredible - Edit
This is my favorite sushi spot! The vegan options are incredible. My family and I go here so often that the staff know us by now (hah!). I highly recommend the seaweed salad. It’s different from any other seaweed salad you’d find at a restaurant, but the different seaweeds and textures is incredible. I’m also a huge fan of the baked trumpet mushroom sushi with pearls. So good! I could go on and on! If you’re thinking of going, definitely go!

Sushi worth the travel - Edit
It’s so nice finding vegan sushi that isn’t just the standard vegetable roll. The flavors that get pulled off are outstanding. Definitely a must try!

Good vegan menu of creative sushi rolls - Edit
Really tasty sushi rolls that extend beyond just the normal cucumber or avocado maki! We ordered all vegan food - three rolls (vegan baked spicy scallop, gogo roll, green dragon roll) and one small roll (vegan spicy tuna).
Read moreWe liked the three specialty rolls equally, they were all very good. We'll pass on the vegan spicy tuna next time.
Definitely going to come here again (and eventually try each of the rolls!)
Pros: creative vegan sushi, fair prices for good sushi, nice staff
Cons: vegan spicy tuna roll was not that good

Wish I could give this 5 stars - Edit
The menu has a clear vegan/vegetarian section. One of the cooks is vegan and you can clearly tell. I would say this is as good, maybe better, than Shizen in the city. Definitely a hidden vegan gem and I would highly recommend going. The family who owns it are so nice too. Cannot rave about this place enough. Just go!!!

Very good vegan Japanese food - Edit
I enjoyed the atmosphere and food when I went. There's a separate Vegetarian menu full of vegan food. This is a popular place, and it isn't very big, but I got a seat right away. There were families, hipsters, and people of all sorts. The staff was busy, but friendly.

Good option for sushi - Edit
They have a separate and extensive menu of vegetarian options, most of which are vegan. I had some good vegan maki and a cucumber and daikon salad. Very satisfying. The server was very friendly and helpful. I was with two omnivores who were very happy with their traditional sushi. This was my first visit and I definitely would go back. We were there for dinner on a Monday and had no trouble getting a table. The place is small, though, so it may be hard to get a seat during busy times.

Cons: seating could get tight

cute lil place! - Edit
Excellent quality authentic Japanese food. Huge vegan menu, not your average avocado rolls. Small place so best to call ahead. Great service as well.

Unknown Vegan Gem - Edit
Came here a few times with pescetarian and omnivore eaters and was very happy with their Veggie Sushi Combo, though a single selection on the menu. Happily surprised at subsequent visit when handed a 'Vegan Menu' with countless selections - appetizers, combos, sushi, nigiri, rolls, specials, and desert.
Read moreInitially went for the Chirashi Special, which had a mix of items that I had apprehension with - I thought the flavors would not be enjoyable, but I was wrong. I found the Chirashi Special a seemingly endless treat of exploding flavors. Well done Kiku Sushi.
I also enjoy their rolls. Veggie Sushi Combo is a sampler treat. Very inspiring place. I have reservation that once the news gets out Kiku Sushi will be overwhelmed, but then I think yes, overwhelm them with vegan love. We can enjoy the flavors and fun of a sushi bar without harming our ocean creatures and environment.
Pros: Huge selection, Friendly staff, Inventive menu
Cons: Small and busy, Secret place won't be secret forever, 4 star limit b/c veg friendly not full veg
