Very tasty food - Edit
Great food and amazing atmosphere. We stumbled on this place during our roadtrip and stopped for a quick bite. Not a whole lot of vegan options, but the ones they have are super good. It felt like the whole town was there for their anniversary with live music.

While their vegan options are limited, they're fantastic. There are 2 taco options for vegans and both are excellent. The vibe at this place is really where it's at though. And they allow dogs on the patio, what more could you want?!

I'd been driving through Texas wanting tacos but too tired to stop and have to ask about vegan options. I'm so thankful for Happy Cow for this listing. The guacamole with salsa flight was perfect with just a hint of cilantro. The two vegan option tacos were flavorful and just the right spice. I'd never had cactus so that was a treat until I thought about my pet cactus at home. ?

Relatively new taco shop that quickly became locals favorite. It's nestled in the highland neighborhood and in nice weather can get pretty busy. I normally get one of each of the vegetarian tacos (no queso) and they both are delicious in the own right. Always order a calverita too, which is their take on a margarita using hibiscus syrup. This isn't your run-of-the-mill free chips and salsa boring Mexican place. It's fresh, local if possible, ingredients that dance on your tongue.
