READ AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS

as a vegan in Vietnam, finding a vegetarian restaurant can be hard. I looked on happycow and discovered this one, which sounded great! When we got there we discovered it was buffet style: you choose rice or soup, and if you choose rice, you go up and make your own dish. Price is based on amount of food-- and it is ARBITRARY. We went 3 nights in a row, and the first night ate about a pound of food for 40K VND. The second night they gave us more of a hard time and charged 65K for a bit less food. We tried to argue but they were obstinate and we learned our lesson: ask how much the plate costs before eating it and before you sit down.

Night 3: we walk in and get a minuscule amount of food. One or two pieces of mock meat and a couple veggies and a spring roll. At abnormal vegetarian restauarant this would be 20-25K. They said 40, and I was shocked. Then, to make things worse, a woman (who is presumably the owner) came over with the guy who appraised our meal and started YELLING in Vietnamese. They then stated that it would cost 50K for the same plate because each piece of mock meat apparently costs 10K.

TLDR: they judged us based on the color of our skin and tried to upcharge us for LESS food after we'd eaten there THREE NIGHTS IN A ROW. Absolutely atrocious customer service. If you're in a bind, buy some Oreos, cause these people are AWFUL.

Pros: It's vegan

Cons: [censored] employees, Racist, Inconsistent
