It would be unfair to fully review this restaurant as I didn't actually eat there. I'm just jumping on here to let others know about the vegan items on menu.
I was stuck in Wooli Creek for half an hour waiting for next bus so looked around for somewhere to grab some lunch, seriously lacking vegan places in this area of Sydney and short for time I ended up looking at the Omni places. Kei restaurant being just across the road was ideal, however on the large menu there's not a big choice for vegans, more a selection of 'side' type dishes. The vegan items are clearly marked but the vegan Seared Onigiri says the rice balls are torched with eel sauce, maybe this is a vegan sauce??? The thought of eels put me right off and had me wondering about the other vegan items so i didnt end up ordering anything. Other vegan listed items were veg gyoza, veg spring rolls, lotus chips, edamame, vege roll, vege rainbow roll, plain inari, corn inari, and seaweed ship. There were also a couple of rolls listed in the kids menu. I was after a bowl type lunch, and whilst they do have sushi rice bowls on the menu none of them are vegan.
