Charming and Delicious - Edit
We loved this small restaurant with its wood decor, hanging dried flowers and friendly cook/server (owner?). The food was made fresh in front of those of us at the counter. There is an English menu with photos and our cook/server spoke some English as well which made things easy. All five of us agreed that the falafels and pita were delicious. I had the Pita Plate with the soup special (roasted cauliflower), and would recommend both. It is not a big menu, but everything on it sounded wonderful so it was still hard to choose!

Amazing - Edit
After a full morning of hiking and exploring beautiful Kamakura we were hungry and cold. Luckily this place was the perfect spot to recharge. A little small inside, and not the most comfortable seating. But the food was amazing and reasonably priced, and the gentleman who runs the shop was so kind. I can’t wait to go back.

Fantastico 😍 - Edit
Piatti semplici, ma eseguiti alla perfezione dallo chef. Pochi piatti e tutti eccezionali. Locale piccolo e intimo, tipico e caratteristico. Nota molto positiva è che lo chef parla inglese ed è molto facile comprendersi.

Good food and nice owner - Edit
In kamakura this place was really a blessing. It is not far from the shopping street and it has falafel sandwiches and falafel plates. The owner is very nice and speaks English better than the most we encountered.

Really tasty middle eastern food made with a variety of fresh vegetables. The owner was so kind and gave us all kinds of extras. Overall a lovely calm restaurant slightly away from the center of Kamakura.

Super yummy Lebanese Food - Edit
The Food is super yummy, vegan and the owner is an absolutely adorable person. The interior is beautiful and we had a lovely time here. Since the bowls were already out for today (we were quite late for lunch), we got a little Cup of the rice from the bowls for tasting. Also super nice! Definitely recommend this place!

Delicious vegan food, prepared fresh daily - Edit
Between visiting shrines, temples and gardens, we decided to have lunch here. It's a small storefront, but the name is stenciled on the glass. The address doesn't register in Apple Maps, so we had to use Google. I tried adding it to Apple, but the address isn't found. Maybe I'm entering it incorrectly.
Read moreRegardless, we were the only ones at the restaurant at the time, so the owner was able to spend some time with us describing the menu items and the daily board. He spoke English fairly well, so it was easy to communicate. I decided on the Veggy Bowl SPset and the meal began with a soup, which was very tasty! Next the entree came and along with it, a little piece of paper with the contents. I've had most of what was on the plate, but there were a few things that were new to me. It was definitely a good portion of food, so I wasn't going to go hungry, and I liked that there was a large variety of different things to try. The falafel were a little dry for me, but the rest of the plate was very good. I cleaned the plate!
My set also included dessert, which was a small portion, but it was enough sweetness to finish of a hearty, satisfying meal. I would recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

Cozy little place to grab a healthy lunch - Edit
The owner prepared our falafel pita with so much attention and fresh ingredients. He was also very kind. Great place on your way to Hokokuji Bamboo Forest. If I remember correctly, there was no name above the door so could be a bit hard to find.

Favorite place in Kamakura!! - Edit
The vegan scene in Kamakura is amazing but this has to be my favorite place. The owner learned to cook from an Israeli friend and each time I visited I enjoyed the authentic Middle Eastern flavors so much. Best falafel I’ve eaten in Japan! It’s not expensive either, but what makes this place very special to me is the owner. I’ve had lunch at this place a couple of times and talking to him was really wonderful. He is so nice!!😊 Only thing is the place really isn’t fully veg…. But I’d still give it 5 stars! :p

Very good food + atmosphere - Edit
The food was great, and the owner was very kind - he speaks English as well as Japanese and when there weren't many bento boxes left he was happy to make us falafel sandwiches instead, which were extremely good. It's not far from Kamakura Station, almost opposite the post office. Look out for a sign that says vegan on it if you're in the area!
