Good food, clearly labeled - Edit
Went here for dinner two evenings in a row. Lots of vegan options, which are all clearly labeled on the menu. The food is good, cheap and making you come back for more!

Good value - Edit
I ate here a lot during my stay in Kazbegi. It is very affordable. Best dishes; mushroom ostri, mushroom bread, and just regular bread. Next best that I tried was the spinach bread, and lentil soup. Having eaten a lot of beans in a pot and corn bread in Georgia and Kazbegi, i would say don't get those here. The wheat breads are hot and fresh so are really amazing.

Great food - Edit
Their were great and well labelled vegan options. The dining area was outside, protected by rain. The owner was quite sassy, but nice.

Nothing vegan to eat - Edit
The owner was super friendly but I was a bit shocked when he said that there is no vegan (or vegetarian) dishes available to be ordered. Claimed that 'it's not season'... Not sure what he meant with that, as this just happened, and it's summer. He offered an hatchapuri, and when I asked can I have it without cheese the answer was no.
Read moreLuckily I didn't go out of my way to come here and wasn't starving, so I guess I'll just head back to Tbilisi and eat there.
Pros: Jovial owner
Cons: Not a single vegan dish.

A hidden gem! - Edit
The options are not many but they are really tastfull! The staff is very helpful and polite. It was difficult to find and we thought that was closed. However, I tried to open the door and I was surprised that it was open. The space is small but creates a nice and friendly atmosphere. Definitely I would go again.

A great eatery in the heart of Stepantsminda. For authentic traditional food, great prices, and a friendly atmosphere look no further. The owner is welcoming, and knowledgeable about vegan and vegetarian food.

What a guy taking the order. He IS the place. Good English / interesting / knows difference from Veg/vegan. Broccoli veg soup. Excellent. Goulash best I’ve had. For a small / diverse / meat option place. Very good effort.

Same food, great service - Edit
Same menu as most Georgian places but the service is great - the guy who serves you is hilarious and friendly. He really makes it great. If you aren’t vegan try the cheese cornbread!
