No vegan options

Everything is cooked in ghee except a plain dosa, so this isn’t an option for vegans. Disappointed.

Average food and service

Vegetarian South Indian cuisine with a rather cold (bordering rude) service. Food was average and the brusque order taker will make random comments on how long it will take for food will appear. We ordered dosa and the frowning lady said 20 minutes. We said it was ok- but the lady said you will have to wait, almost as if dissuading us from ordering it. We again said it was ok. There was no further response and the transaction went brusquely.

The exchange was awkward and made the food not enjoyable. Dosa was ok- but puris were oily and average.

Pros: Vegetarian

Cons: Poor service, Rather awkward reception

👍

Great experience here. Came here at night. The guy at the front desk appeared really busy. He wasn’t rude and apologised for the wait. Was able to advise vegan options. Food was good also. Just wish there was a bit more of it.

Pros: Good food

Cons: Disposable plastic

Only go if you’re desperate

Rude staff, got my order wrong. The staff were too busy yelling at each other to communicate my order correctly and I was served a cheaper option at a more expensive price. Not recommended but there isn’t a lot of other options around sadly.

Cons: Staff seem to hate other

rude staff

as our final vegan dining experience in Singapore we will never forget how rude the staff member was here. the food was ok and of course it's great to have a vegan option in an airport but manners are free...

Some tasty vegan options available.

The staff member understood veganism and was able to point out vegan options to us. We had onion uttapam (like a pancake of fermented dough- there were different flavors to choose from), idli (small round disks of fermented dough), rice and masala dosa. Everything was tasty and we were very full. Would go back if I am at that airport again. I especially liked the uttapam because it's not commonly available at restaurants where I live, so it was novel for me.

Pros: Staff understands veganism, Enough choices

Cons: Vegan options not marked

Marsala dosa is yum

Not that much choice for vegan food at Changi but this place is a good find. Fresh, fast, delicious. Most dishes have cream in them but the Marsala dosa is ital and super peng.

Good dosa

I was passing through Changi and looking for vegan and gluten free options near transit hotel.
Quick, cheap, and a good masala dosa., with a couple of sauces, and a flavousome chunky soup.
Very good value, and very tasty.

Pros: Generous portion, good chunky soup, Quick, Tasty

Cons: No raw options here

All vegetarian food, limited vegan options

This is the only place within Changi Airport that serves only vegetarian food, and the only one that also has vegan options on the menu. Unfortunately, many of the dishes that with many Indian restaurants come as vegan options, at Kaveri were prepared using milk or butter. The staff was really knowledgeable about the ingredients for the different dishes, which I greatly appreciated. My wife and daughter had lovely vegetarian meals, but for me the only vegan options were the dosas. They were pretty tasty so I enjoyed my meal, but it would have been nice to have a few more options.

good staff

amid complete chaos I think the staff did a great job. although not the best food I had in Singapore for an airport, it was decent.
I asked for vegan options and about 40% of the.mnu was fine, I went for a onion dosa, which was okay and good for a fast bite.
the place was chaotic and people jumping in and the staff did well, but looked harassed.

Pros: vegan options

Fast Service, Decent Food

I ordered a simple masala dosa--it was ready in about 2 minutes (probably the most commonly ordered dish there). Their menu is somewhat limited, and they're a little expensive for Indian Singapore standards (they *are* at the airport), but it was good to have a nice masala dosa before boarding my flight.

Pros: good food, fast service

Cons: small menu

Poor Uththappams

I had ordered a plain Uththappam (Indian pancake) for about SD 7/- about a month ago. It was completely dry as it was bereft of any fillings, and so, hard to eat. In India at least, an Uththappam by default comes with at least onion/tomato toppings that make it edible. I am sure that for SD 7/- they can easily add tomatoes or onions to make it edible.

I believe there is another Indian veg. place in Changi airport, next time I plan to try that place instead of this place.

Pros: vegetarian

Cons: cooking below average
