Great Thai - Edit
Every time I go to Kati I am so pleased with what I get. The quality of the food is consistent and the restaurant itself is beautiful. It does tend to get quite busy around dinner time so i suggest doing an early dinner or calling ahead. When I went I got the Old Style Pad Thai which is amazing, not too sweet and it has a lovely tang to it. It's one of my favorite Pad Thais that i have had ever. I also shared the Fresh Garden Rolls and Cauliflower Bombs appetizers. The Garden Rolls were classic and very yummy, I love the sauce they serve with it. The Cauliflower Bombs were spicy but also good. I highly recommend visiting Kati if you are in the area!

Amazing Vegan Thai - Edit
This is my favorite Thai place by far because of one menu item. It’s one of those places where I’ve found my dish and can’t bring myself to order anything else! I always order the Kuay Tiew Kua Gai. It’s so savory and the textures are my favorite with the wide noodles, sautéed veggies, and plant-based egg. I’m seeing other reviews saying dishes are too sweet. I think that’s why I like this one so much, it’s more savory and umami than sweet and that’s nearly always what I’m looking for.

Good food and a cute spot - Edit
The restaurant is currently decorated for spooky season, which I love; it’s seems like a cute little vibey spot in general though. Khao soi was good, but my winner was definitely the devil wings - spicer than expected (which was a good thing!) and so tasty! Overall would definitely go again.

Food is too sweet - Edit
First time trying this place. Husband and I had the garden rolls appetizer, the fried artichokes, and the drunken noodles. Every single dish tasted too sweet. The drunken noodles didn’t have enough noodles and way too many onions. Generally the meal was fine but for the steep price I would have expected a bit more.

Ambiance - Edit
The ambiance and service are both great and certainly fit the upscale vibe. In my opinion, the food isn't as good as Araya's Place though. Maybe I just got my hopes up with all the positive reviews.
Read moreThe Devil Wings were a unique appetizer that I hadn't seen at other Thai places, and the Mango Tango drink was very good! The service and drinks are genuinely fantastic. I don't recommend the Portobello Lover appetizer.I love Portobello, but I think you could make that one at home.

Disappointed - Edit
I got the kati pho, which is listed under specials on their menu and is the most expensive item. The broth is not like traditional pho at all. I was basically served veggie soup with some cooked beyond meat and rice noodles. Super disappointing, especially considering the price.

Hit and miss - Edit
We got the cauliflower bombs as an app, my boyfriend got the pineapple fried rice and I got my favorite Thai soup, the Tom Kha. The cauli app was great; perfectly cooked, good texture and super delicious and actually spicy dipping sauce. The pineapple fried rice was very good. I was not thrilled with the Tom Kha. It didn’t come with rice or tofu for the price, the veggies needed to be cut smaller and the broth was disappointing. I was surprised that it could taste so differently than other Thai places I’ve been to and didn’t include the same ingredients for the price. I think the restaurant has a lot more delicious dishes to offer however, so I plan to come back to try more.

Wow - Edit
So many options and every one amazing. The garlic jackfruit on sticky rice was delightful…great texture, incredible flavor. Country curry with crispy artichokes was an incredible entree. Packed with flavor. The available purple jasmine rice was a great compliment to the stir fry. Must try.

Positively wonderful experience and meal here! I ordered the Cauliflower Bombs and Pad Keemao. 😋😋😋 The fragrances that came from both plates blew me away. The flavors were even better. I can’t wait to come back to Seattle to try something else off the menu. I appreciated the super fast, friendly service. The server even bowed as he served my food. Purely delightful! Highly recommend!

Amazing tofu satay and khao soi - Edit
A really special spot. Finally good Thai food is rare, the continent is flush with really subpar offerings at your average restaurant. Kati Thai is not your average restaurant luckily.
Read moreThe place was packed this past Friday night. We sat at the bar to keep some distance and having our chairs bumped as the restaurant is too small for the number of tables and you can’t hear yourself think.
Worth it because the food is outstanding. We had the Khao soi, tofu satay and a dish I had never heard of with handmade rice noodles and tofu scrambled egg.
Servers were doing their best given the demanding speed and number of people in there. I don’t envy them. Tip well.
Pros: High quality vegan Thai food without the flight, Khao soi, Tofu satay
Cons: Noisy , Crowded

Delicious all-vegan Thai food - Edit
Visited as a couple with our 11 month old baby. All three of us enjoyed the food! Had the Angel wings, pad thai, pad see ew, and tom yum soup. All were great! I hadn’t had my favorite Tom yum soup since going veggie, so that was a hit for me. Took some noodles home to enjoy later. It was a popular place for eat in and takeout. Had a high chair for the baby, which was appreciated.
