Great spices ~ very tasty....

We had the Masala dosa, cauliflower manchurian and lentil donuts with a garlic paratha here. All very good with great spices & flavours throughout.

Friendly staff who were knowledgeable and experienced to ensure all of our food was vegan. Good prices and good portions with efficient service. Recommended.

New favourite New Plymouth eatery!

We love south Indian food, and everything we had at Kathakali was delicious. The kallappam pancakes (made from fermented rice) were a highlight. There were lots of vegan options on the menu, and the waiter understood what vegan meant AND what was in the dishes, so was able to advise us.

So good!

I go to kathakali regularly. I can't help myself, is so good! Dine in or takeaway - check out the lentil doughnuts, Gobi Manchurian and masala dosa. Yum!
