Good

It was good, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had either. They had a fair amount of options. They don’t fully understand what vegan entails as you can see in the photos in my post. They’d call items with fish vegan, so just be cautious when you go.

Good falafel

Love the falafel wrap here; it’s my go-to order when I need a quick lunch. A filling and satisfying lunch

Middle of the road

I went to Kassab's for dinner. The server was young and asked him about vegan options. He said that anything on the menu that was in green was vegan. When looking at the menu, however, I found this to be inaccurate.

I ordered the spicy hummus, falafel wrap, and french fries. Overall, I found everything to be extremely middle of the road. The pita was pretty dry and uninspiring. I also wouldn't have classified the hummus as spicy. That said, the person I went with warned me in advance of us ordering that Kassab's was hit or miss, but more often than not hit. I wouldn't call my experience a miss, but I wouldn't call it a hit either.

Cons: Menu isn't clear about vegan vs. vegetarian items

Been loving this place for over a decade

Only critique is whoever made their menu isn’t crystal clear on the difference between vegetarian and vegan, they have such glorious vegan food!

My favorite thing they offer is sleek, a dish of spinach, bulgur wheat, and black eyed peas, and YES you want to pay an extra $1.50 for those caramelized onions! Their grape leaves are lovely, their little donut falafels are excellent, I get excited by their pickled vegetables, and the spicy hummus, while not actually spicy, is such a treat! I make a point of coming here every time I’m in town.

Bathroom note: there are two double occupancy gendered bathrooms.

Pros: Exquisite food , Abundant options, Lovely vibe

Cons: Menu confused about vegetarian v. vegan

Amazing food and very inexpensive

I’ve been going here for over 15 years. It’s delicious and cheap. They just reduced their prices. $5 for amazing falafel! Can’t beat that.

Good food

I love this place! I usually get a falafel sandwich and baba. I also like the lentils and rice dish with fried onions and the fatoosh. It's really quiet here during lunch and early dinner times. Public parking lot is less than a block away if there are spaces.

Pros: Quite a few vegan options and good food

Disppointed :-(

Perhaps they were having an off-day, but I did not like the service nor the food. I ordered hummus, falafel, and a fattoush salad. The hummus was lumpy--not smooth, the falafel was burned on the outside and undercooked on the inside, and the fattoush salad did not have deep-fried pita chips, nor did it have any sumac or Za'atar.

If you are interested in Middle Eastern food, go to the Mediterranean Grill or Ali Baba's.

Cons: hard to find parking, poor food, noisy
