Few options BUT - Edit
Der Kartoffelauflauf mit Champignons und Spinat ist offiziell die einzige vegane Option auf der Karte. Auf Nachfrage meinte die äußerst kompetente Kellnerin allerdings, dass auch die anderen Aufläufe wie z.B. der temporäre Spargelauflauf (gegen Aufpreis) vegan zubereitet werden könne. Auch der Salat und die Bratkartoffeln seien an und für sich vegan. So auch beim veganen Schnitzel mit Spargel. Ich hatte dennoch den ‚normalen‘ Auflauf, der auch lecker war; angenehm mild.

We tried the only vegan option on the menu which have been mentioned in the reviews before. It had potatoes, lots of cheese sauce, spinach, mushrooms and apparently also garlic, but couldn't taste that. The food had simple and mild flavors, but it was good and fulfilling. The price was 13,90 € (didn't get the extra broccoli that was recommended here).
Read moreYou can ask for the menu card that shows all the special diets and allergies (at least what on the menu is vegetarian, vegan or gluten free). Staff speaks English and they made sure that we wanted the dish vegan and not vegetarian.
Over all a good experience if you want to enjoy warming, greasy, German food.

Die Ofenkartoffel vegan ist für mich bisher das beste vegane Gericht, dass ich auswärts gegessen habe! Das Gemüse ist frisch, die vegane Käsesoße ist absolut cremig und lecker! Mein neuer Favorit in Trier!

We went to the restaurant and ordered the vegan dish with brokkoli as was recommended on here - but what no one else mentioned this costs an extra 3€!!! For 6 pieces of brokkoli??? Absolutely exorbitant in my eyes. The dish tasted okay but was lacking a lot of flavor. Portion size was very big. Still not worth the price of 16€ with the brokkoli. Also, even tho it’s a potato restaurant, it feels like 90% of their dishes are centered around Schnitzel or other meat. Overall, I must say I was a little disappointed.

One fantastic vegan option - Edit
Only being in Trier for a short while I really wanted to experience some authentic German food. This was by far the best available. There is only one vegan option but it is fantastic. It’s really filling & warms you up. You can add vegetables (I saw someone else here added broccoli so I did the same. Was not disappointed at all).
Read moreIt would be useful if they had more range but considering the lack of vegan options generally in the city. It’s perfect if you’re only passing or want to try some vegan-friendly German cuisine some night.

If the potato did play a central role in their menu you could expect a lot of vegan options, but this is not the case. But as they do have vegan cheese on stock there‘s a way: just order your dish with that instead of the ordinary cheese and they will adapt the menu eventually!

We were there this summer during our vacation, the only restaurant we could find with a vegan option. Although they have just one vegan dish ( If you don't count the fries), it is a really tasty one, with vegetables and vegan cheese.
