Tasty affordable food

I like it that they are into sustainability: they use washable napkins, the furniture looks second hand, etc. Nice no nonsense atmosphere. Always several dishes to choose from, and these change frequently. Wonderful deserts as well. All 100% vegan :-)

Update 14 April:
We went back and had a very nice tapas plank with some meat replacements, 'cheese', bread and spreads etc. We also had a curry with cauliflower beignets, and a lasagne. The food was really nice and the price is affordable.

Update 27 April :
We had spring herb puree with poached vegetables, tempeh, (roasted?) capers and veganaise. It was very nice and the (roasted? fried?) capers are just delicious. We ended our evening with the best tiramisu ever! All vegan, yes!

Updates
Great pasta, nice chocolate cake. Dishes change regularly and are always nice.
The chocolare mousse is wonderful as well!

Amazing place with a weekly changing menu and vegan Irish coffee

Socially conscious restaurant where you pay what you can afford (only valid for the dish of the day). On Sundays they serve pancakes and on Thursdays they do a Happy hour where you can order a vegan Irish coffee for 6,5 euro.

Pros: All vegan, Good prices

Excellent lunch place

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
Had a Luikse Salad (green beans, baby taters, seitan, devils plant-based egg), was great!
Loved the home made iced tea.

Pros: Good food, friendly staff

Cons: Bit busy street at times

Home made feeling, excellent cooking

I took the Lentekruidenpurée with poached greens, tempeh and veganaise, and it was honestly delicious. Paired with an Ouwen Duiker beer. Warmly recommended.

Pros: Delicious home made

Accessible vegan food

I was really curious about this new place around the corner, as everything on the menu is vegan and homemade. I went for the seitan steak with onion sauce, chicory and roasted potatoes. The seitan steak was really soft and flavourful, unlike any seitan I had before. I love that the dishes are simple yet really nice. I ended with the homemade ice cream and went for the vanilla, chocolate and salted peanut flavours. They were really creamy and had a slight flavour of oats (I think?). Again, simple yet really nice. I enjoyed all of the food and the staff was also really friendly. It's also really cool that they offer a daily menu with a pay-what-you-can system to also make it accessible for people who usually can't afford to go to a restaurant. Literally the only downside was that it was hard to have a conversation at times due to the poor acoustics. I hope they will manage to improve this by adding some wall arts and perhaps even some more plants. Will return nevertheless!

Update: they have recently added some acoustic panels and it's already a world of difference. Also, they added vegan tiramisu and cheesecake on their menu, and both are exquisite. They are currently also working on a sunny terrace in the back for summer, which I'm really looking forward to.

Authentic and tasty!

This is a very friendly and authentic place where they noticebally care about being sustainable. All the food is vegan and very tasty. The menu is not so big what makes it more real in my opinion. Cosy atmosphere and just overall good vibes.

Pros: Only vegan options, Nice interior, Friendly
