Beachside kiosk offering coffee, cakes & scooped or soft serve ice cream. All flavours are plant based other than the clotted cream vanilla. Plant based scoop options include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, honeycomb, salted caramel, coconut, raspberry sorbet and mint choc chip. Open Mon-Sun 08:00-17:00. Closed Mon. Lots of vegan options 🍦 🌱 - Edit
Iced oat latte, vegan mint choc chip (not pictured), warm banana bread and vegan spread, plant based doggy ice cream. Unfortunately ran out of whippy 😢 but we’ll be back to try!

Wow! Amazing Vegan whippy Ice Cream! - Edit
We were in Sidmouth last week and found Kapes along the seafront. We asked what was Vegan to be told that all except one was Vegan and best of all that their whippy ice cream is ALL vegan! They have two flavours of whippy - Vanilla and Salted caramel. Both are delicious and taste just as you remember Mr Whippy tasting as a kid. They even have cute little dinosaur chocolates to have in place of the flake, which our girls loved. We went back for more before we left the same day! 😁The owner was super friendly too, and suggested some places for a Vegan lunch in town.
