Delicious Food and Amazing Chef/Artist - Edit
I absolutely loved this place! It was a total experience! Chef Eduardo came out and explained that he had no menu and loved to create food based on the day and what he was feeling! Trust the process! He’s a freaking food genius! And his personality is absolutely joyful! He definitely enjoys what he does! And Lara, our server, was delightful as well! I was with people who are not vegan so he catered to them, me (vegan), and Gluten Free! The food he made me was amazing! Even the non-vegans raved about my food! And everything is so fresh! For example, he makes the coconut milk in house! And he totally understands what vegan is (i.e. no honey)! I wish I lived here because I would go all the time! I highly recommend this place! You will leave happy and full!

Cool restaurant in Urubamba - Edit
Very hip restaurant in Urubamba. You'll find all kinds of visitors here and the staff is cool and friendly, and seem to be passionate about their cooking. They can veganize every curry on the menu, and I recommend all of them! I also had take-away once when I wasn't feeling very well, and the food was just as good and really cheered me up.

Pork Proud - Edit
We went here on a special Cantonese pork and chicken day where the owner, approached us stating that there's only lots of meat today "that's how we like it, Rock n' Roll" We didn't like the energy or the attitude of what appeared to be the remnants of a hangover. I don't think there's a restaurant in Peru that can't take the meat away and give you a vegan appearing dish, however, I don't think this is what Happy Cow is for.

Cons: The few vegan options are 30s+

Unexpectedly Delicious in Urubamba! - Edit
I just happened upon Kapmu while walking around Urubamba one evening. They have a short menu of Peruvian Indian fusion and other internationally inspired dishes. The Peruvian Indian fried rice can be made vegan (and the owner/manager understands what vegan means, they speak great English!). Also any curry can be made vegan. There are vegan appetizers as well. I highly recommend the fried rice and peanut curry!

Cons: Doesn’t take credit cards , Pay extra for spicy level >3, No tofu/mock meat
