Kalifornia Kitchen - Edit
This restaurant is very cute and great for Instagram. However, I had the scrambled tofu toast and my partner had the B12 burger, both of which tasted pretty basic. They also charge a pretty penny for their food (or is it common to say pretty pence?), so I haven’t been in a rush to return. It’s OK overall.

Nice but not worth the money - Edit
Nice place, friendly staff and nice food even though the portions are very small for the price you're paying compared to other vegan places.

Good food but small portions and very overpriced - Edit
The food was good but the portions were very small for what you paid for and the ambience and setting of the place. Restaurant looks great from the outside but when you walk in it has a fast-food vibe (this might just be the lighting - there was thought put into the interior decoration otherwise although it might be a bit dated).
Read moreService was slow and we had to flag someone down to order and never brought out the water that had been requested. The food all tasted good but we were all left rather shocked (and hungry) by the portion sizes. We had come for an early dinner before the theatre and all left hungry still - the panko mushroom and mash was particularly disappointingly small as the mash was just a smear of mash on the plate with two fried mushrooms.
We were then very surprised when the bill came and there had been a 12.5% service charge put on to the bill for a meal where we had to get our own water and flag down the servers in order to even order.
Had been looking forward to it having looked at the menu but left very disappointed, hungry and considerably poorer after what felt like a very overpriced meal for the setting and portion sizes.
Pros: Good food (but see the cons)
Cons: Expensive, very small portions and no ambience

Good food, slow service - Edit
Good food but not ideal if you are only on a 1 hour lunch break. Staff are friendly and helpful if you need to ask anything about the menu. I had the burger with the smoked Gouda cheese - didn’t disappoint! I also had the brownie and salted caramel slice, recommend the salted caramel one was delicious but couldn’t eat it all was quite large!

Mind not blown - Edit
I don’t know if I was just unlucky... my friend seemed to like his food more. But mine wasn’t amazing and it wasn’t hugely filling either. I may go back and try again but it seemed to me like pretentious hipster w***.

Perfect for everything - Edit
Super friendly staff, lovely decor and vibe. A great selection of options to eat for breakfast, coffee, smoothies, brunch, lunch and dinner. The portions were brilliant and the food was incomparable to anywhere else because of its own unique tasty flavours. Would definitely go again, especially with such a central location. Vegan or not, anyone would love this place!

Fantastic - Edit
We had an amazing time at Kalifornia kitchen and found the food to be creative and delicious. We had the fish and chips and the panko chicken with truffle mash. The food was perfect! We enjoyed it very much. The service was excellent, we found the staff to be extremely attentive and happy to be there. There was a mixup with our reservation and they made up for it with a complimentary glass of Prosecco which was thoughtful. Recommend!

Kalifornia Kitchen on point - Edit
I went on August 26, 2019 - quiet Monday bank holiday night - with 2 non vegan friends. We had the fish & chips, the b12 burger and the curry. All of it was very delicious. As a dessert we wanted to share one piece of cake, they brought us a second dessert for free. It’s a great restaurant to have lunch or dinner at. Cool decor too.

The kind of meal a vegan might have expected at a wedding in the 80’s - Edit
‘Pad Thai’ consisting of a tiny pile of noodles with nothing but a couple of slices of cucumber and lemon juice. It wasn’t enough to fill a small child, and that’s not hyperbole. The prices do not reflect the portion size.

Hidden prices - Edit
This is way too expensive, the most expensive i ever been, and they hide costs, prices on the menu do not include taxes and that is not mentioned anywhere, also they charge you an extra 12.x% on the bill without asking. I think this is fraudulent and they could face legal charges.
Read moreTotal rip off. Won't come in again.
Can't give 0 stars, otherwise i would.
It is not vegan if they are thieves.
Pros: Chef seemed to be the only friendly person in ther

NEVER GO HERE - VILE PLACE - Edit
Me and my partner came here because the reviews were seemingly good and the venue looked very bright and up and coming. The exterior and look of the place masks how horrible and disgusting everything else there is. We ordered our food all okay, quite easily and then after about a 35 minute wait (there were only 4 of us in the restaurant all together!) we were delivered the most vile food I have ever tasted in my life. The falafel salad that I ordered was completely doused in lemon juice and oil to the point that I felt sick after a few mouthfuls! The falafel was stale and rock hard and the vegetables were soggy - I even found a mouldy leaf in my salad! My partner had the b12 burger and it was so tasteless, cold and mushy - like it had probably touched the grill for about 10 seconds! We also ordered some kale chips as they are usually my favourite thing to eat, but when these came they were burnt and like wood chips with a weird residue on them. When the bill arrived, we were shocked to see that an extra £12 had been added on to the bill as the waiters had self tipped and added the tax on separately to the menu price! My partner is a chef and this is certainly not the way that things should be done - completely a violation of customer care!! It’s safe to say that this is the WORST place in the whole of London to eat and I have dined at some very questionable places in my life! NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE! Do not let the cutesy decor fool you! Deserves -100 stars!

Very pricey - Edit
My general impression was that this place just thinks it's too cool. The prices were generally wild, including 7-10 for desserts. Have actually had much better b12 burger elsewhere. In general tasty but definitely not worth the price. And even though the place was empty after an hour it was clear they wanted us gone...

Colorful lunch - Edit
What a little gem of a restaurant. The decor is pink and the food is of all colors, including a bright blue spirulina latte. The menu is very creative. It has a wide range of dishes with uncommon ingredients such as banana peels! If you're not convinced, just have a look at the menu and you're sure to find something that will draw you in!
