Heerlijk gegeten! Super kijk op veganistisch koken waardoor je niets hoeft te missen en we van een heerlijk gevarieerd diner hebben kunnen genieten. Veel aandacht voor lokale producten en elke gang werd uitgebreid toegelicht. Sowieso super service; vriendelijk, enthousiast en ook zeer kundig. Het is wel prijzig, maar is het zeker waard. 100% een aanrader en vijf sterren als het zou kunnen!

Wat een geweldig gastronomisch restaurant is dit. Gezellig intiem en met een bijzonder vriendelijk en servicegerichte crew. Ik heb genoten van een volledig veganistisch 5 gangen diner, ieder gerecht weer een schilderijtje. Geen vleesvervangers maar ieder gerecht volledig plantaardig bereid met verse groenten. Mijn 3 tafelgenoten aten niet vegan, een combi waar ‘de keuken’ zijn hand niet voor omdraait. Een aanrader!

We had the 5 courses vegan menu, and when you make the reservation you can ask for it to be vegetarian or vegan.

The chefs were pleased to serve vegan variations of their menu (which changes every 2 weeks and always has local seasonal ingredients) and asked which dish we liked the most.
Would very recommend this great place!

Getting the 3 to 7-course menu in a vegan version is no problem at all, even a non-alcoholic accompaniment to all courses is always offered. They go the extra mile in everything they do - the guest really is king here. The dishes are enchanting in their colourful presentation, with different textures and, above all, incredible taste. The drink accompaniments were also very diverse and appropriate to each course. The experience is really worth the price - happy as can be😄If I could, I would give five stars.

Kale & de Bril offer vegan and vegetarian 3 to 7 course meals (5 and 7 in the weekends) if you let them know beforehand. The regular menu changes periodically, so they replace meat and vegetarian dishes on the menu with vegetarian/vegan ones if you wish.

Magnificent five-star ***** vegan dining - Edit
In the charming town of Goes, Kale & De Bril ('the bold one and him with glasses') are the two chefs that gave the restaurant its name. The chefs prefer to work with locally sourced ingredients (seaweeds, mushrooms, vegetables, etc.) to create a 7-course menu that changes regularly.
Read moreWe opted for a 4-course vegan menu (an adapted, selected version of the standard full menu). The results far exceeded our expectations. Each dish was both beautifully presented and tasted very good! The friendly atmosphere also contributed to an exceptional culinary experience.
High dining for vegans! Warmly recommended.
Happy Cow only allows 5-star reviews for veg/vegan-only restaurants, but Kale & De Bril fully deserve 5 stars for their vegan menu.

Read moreHet was voor de chefs geen probleem om het menu veganistisch te maken. Ze deden het met plezier! Vertelde ook dat ze nu wekelijks een vega of vegan mogen bedienen. Je smaakpapillen worden verwend! We hebben onwijs genoten van het 5 gangen menu. De gepofte paprika en de biet met drop en gekarameliseerde pompoen waren fenomenaal. Beide chefs zijn erg vriendelijk en doen met plezier wat extra moeite. Het alchoholvrije cocktail arrangement is ook een aanrader! Kortom: Top!
Alleen nog een krab in n aquarium (Niet midden in het restaurant). Dat is het enige wat jammer was.

We went here during one of the vegetarian nights a while ago. Vegan is absolutely no problem either, just say so when you make a reservation.
Read moreIt is a bit higher end than what we are used to but the food was so good! You could taste that they really thought about everything. Combinations were perfect and even though I normally don't like red cabbage theirs was amazing. They also serve optional accompanying drinks, either wine or alcohol free cocktails. They fit perfect with the dishes as well. Service was great and super kind, chefs were amazing. Both were super interested in our opinions as well as they don't get a lot of people that are fully vegan so they really wanted to know what we thought about everything.
All in all, everything was amazing. We had nothing to complain about and had a great night. Price was a bit high so we won't go here too often as that isn't within our budget but it is really great place if you have something special to celebrate.
