Two vegan options on the menu

There were two vegan options on the menu plus dessert.. one was the steamed gyoza and one was a vegan shallow fried gyoza. The food was good and the yuzu icecream was awesome !

Limited but great options

Small place in the by-lanes of busy Shinjuku. Reach out to the staff for vegan menu. Limited options but gyoza was delicious. Well worth the visit. We didn’t need to make reservations.

Gyoza top! Beware of the cold tofu

Gyoza were great, big recommendation.
Cold tofu tasted fishy, there was something undefineable on top

Pros: Gyoza

Cons: Not so vegan tofu

One Option But it’s Good

Great Vegan Goyzas, there is also Edamame. Surprisingly there is also horse meat on the menu. You order on an I pad which has an english menu.

Worth the wait

Look up in the comment section how to get to the vegan menu. I ordered them all and they were different enough. The tofu I ordered came with bonito flakes, so be careful.

Should be 5*

While I can't give this 5* because happy cow doesn't allow it for omni restaurants, it deserves it.

Lovely atmosphere and the set menu with gyoza was delicious!

Pros: Gyoza, Relaxed setting , Central location Shinjuku

Wonderful atmosphere, really tasty food!

Went here after all the great reviews. We ordered almost every type of the vegan gyoza and loved them all! The atmosphere and ambience in there was also incredible. A short walk away from iconic neon lined Shinjuku streets it's a perfect spot.

Pros: Full vegan menu, Very tasty food, Great ambience

Cons: Can get very busy

Yummy gyoza

It’s really just the one vegan gyoza served in various ways. It was absolutely delicious though and the service was fast and efficient. Great atmosphere.

Pros: Affordable, Good atmosphere, Good location

Cons: Menu a little difficult to navigate

Very good but terrible iPad Menu!

WARNING!
The iPad menu is terrible designed.
Here is a Tutorial on how to get to the Vegan Menu.
You have 2 options.
Option 1:
-Go the english version
-Click on others/call staff member
- Swipe 4 times from right to left (picture moves left)
Option 2:
-Go to the chinese version(vegan menu will be english)
-Swipe once from left to right(picture moves right)

The food was very good. Price was also pretty cheap.

Pros: Good food, Cheap, Interior was comfy

Cons: Terrible Ipad Menu, Small/long queue

Great place

Small, authentic restaurant with a rustic ambience. There are vegan options and the portions are large.

The food was delicious and ordering via tablet was very easy and quick. Unfortunately we were only allowed to stay for an hour (we didn't have a reservation), but that was okay. The prices are good.

The waitress seemed a bit tired but she was friendly. Maaaaaaany tourists.

Pros: Delicious gyoza, Rustic and authentic ambiance , Easy ordering

Cons: Many tourists , Crowded

AMAZING!!

If you book via the website you can choose the vegan set meal -where there are 7 courses (3 being gyozas). We also opted for the bottomless drinks option. Was a fantastic evening and staff are so friendly.

Pros: Peanut and mustard gyoza, Friendly staff, Cute atmosphere

Great gyoza option

There were several very tasty veg gyoza options with a few salads/ sides also. And not purely vegan so my meat eating husband happy.
The atmosphere is really good and very close to Shinjuku station. It’s popular and tiny so book!

Pros: Food, Atmosphere , Location

Great gyouza!

These gyouza were great! I think there is only one vegan gyouza as a base, but then it is prepared in different ways. The "karaage" style ones were my favourite, but the honey ones were also really interesting (if you're ok with honey)

Pros: Really tasty! , Classic atmosphere

Cons: Limited options

Small, noisy, challenging iPad menu

A very small place, so getting a seat can be quite difficult. We were seated at the bar, and the menu is accessed through an iPad. The iPad menu was quite confusing, but we did manage to find some vegan options. They arrived relatively quickly and were delicious. However, the space is very tight, and it was quite noisy.

This food slapped

Loved the gyoza sooo much, fast service, easy to read menu through iPad, good drinks. Tried to go again at 6:30 on a Saturday and they were fully booked for 3 hours. Stays open late so great to get a good feed before or after clubbing in Shinjuku!

One option but it was good!

On the iPad I saw the vegan gyoza but no other option to have it fried, boiled, or steamed. Regardless, it was good and comes with rice and soup

Vegan menu, amazing gyoza

This was by far the best gyoza I tried in Tokyo! The restaurant had a full vegan menu, so there were plenty of options.

Lecker, gute Auswahl, reichlich

Es gibt 4 verschiedene gyozas, gefüllt mit sojahack.
Achtung: Sehr große Portionen, lieber nach und nach bestellen

Very good!!

Selection of 4 different types of gyozas, all very different and all good flavour! My favourite was the honey and mustard!
Only thing which was slightly annoying was that my boyfriend got some meaty gyozas and they served some of them on the same plate as the vegan ones and didn't tell us which ones were which, so we had to call someone over to clarify.

Best Gyoza I can remember…

They have a vegan menu accessed through the main gyoza menu - it is a bit confusing to find - but opens up with 3 vegan gyoza options and a 4th which states honey (I don’t eat honey so didn’t try these ones)

The spinach and fake meat ones were so good i got them twice.

The karrage ones were incredible - the texture was a thing of beauty but they were a touch rich - so i couldn’t have any more than 3.

The fried gyoza came on a bed of cabbage and a tasty sauce.

The edamame were delicious too.

Will be angling to return with my partner!

Pros: Spinach gyoza , Vegan karrage, Edamame

Cons: Horse meat on the menu that could make you avoid, Served the vegan gyoza with non vegan

Hi there! The honey ones are called "honey" but actually do not contain honey. I confirmed with staff that it is syrup. You can access the ingredient list on the menu too that will confirm this. Hope this clears it up :-)

Cheap and delicious!!

Went here for a cheap meal and was not disappointed! There is a fully vegan menu with four types of gyoza and sides. This place is great if you want to experience an Izakaya restaurant while in Japan. We came on a Thursday night and didn’t have to wait to be seated. The only complaint I have is that the staff took a long time to bring our check.

Pros: Cheap, Vegan menu

Cons: Long wait time to pay
