If you don’t go here while in Finland you are missing out - Edit
Legitimately had one of the best dining experiences of my life (and that is coming from someone who has been a vegan in Melbourne Australia for 8 years where some of the best vegan food is). They have a rotating soup of the day that is paired with this delicious bread that to me tasted like a scone had sex with a dinner roll (it was elite). They also have traditional Finnish recipes made vegan, both savoury and sweet (the pulla is so damn good!). Have visited once while in Helsinki but will be going back again (multiple times!) before leaving.

Vegan voisilmapulla - Edit
So happy to finally get a vegan version of this pulla. My friends (non-vegan) also like the different pulla and the coffee was great too. The pirakka were also good, and my friends wouldn’t have realised that they were vegan versions. Really good for a snack or coffee break but limited lunch options.

Amazing little place! - Edit
The karjalanpiirakkas are very good - or at least the one i had was (with orange caviart). My first one ever and it had a distinctive, wholesome flavour. The side salad was delicious. I also had a heart-shaped korvapuusti (a bit like a cinnamon roll), which was amazing! Softness, cinnamon rich, and delicious!

Authentic vegan Finnish food! - Edit
Beautiful cozy and small little cafe in a calm park location close to Finlandia. The owner was sweet and talkative and told us that her and and her two daughters opened this place in march (2022). Everything is traditional Finnish food based on her grandmothers recipes and has been approved by her non vegan family (funny little story she told us). We got three potato tarts with different savory filling ('egg' salad, 'caviar' and picked cucumber) followed by coffee and cinnamon buns. Everything felt very homemade and cooked with a passion for both veganism and Finnish tradition. Maybe we'll have to go there again tomorrow!

All vegan place, we were there in a busy day and got buns right from the oven. I had super good ”lakritsakakku” (licorice cake) and my companion had laaarge bun and that was just what we wanted.

Here you can get Finnish classics like karjalanpiirakka and pulla, and it's all vegan and delicious! The location is also very pretty, and the interior of the cafe feels like grandma's living room. Exactly the type of cafe that Helsinki has been missing!

Can't recommend enough! - Edit
This is the cosiest café with the most delicious pastries (especially the cinnamon buns, but everything is really SO good!). The service is also impeccable💗It is popular, so can be crowded but it is worth it to wait for a table if you have to! Child-friendly place, but it is best to leave the stroller outside :)

Super cute new vegan cafe with Finnish specialties - Edit
I’m so happy that we have this cutest new vegan cafe in Helsinki. The cafe is in a very central location, along the main street of Helsinki, Mannerheimintie. It’s located in a charming historical building in the courtyard of Villa Hakasalmi, which is part of Helsinki City Museum. Open late on Fridays and Saturdays.
