Really friendly cafe with amazing cakes. Well worth the 40 minutes walk to get there for breakfast. The queue was massive but there was plenty of room for all.

The place is quite small and wasn't too crowded when I came, but still the 2 girls who were serving didn't pay any attention to me, eventhrough I wanted to take my order with me. Later someone from kitchen came to serve me, but they billed me more, than they should have (probably by accident, but still..) and I even had my own coffee cup... Unfortunately I realized too late.

I don't get the hype, I probably wouldn't go back.

De kaf van het koren scheiden - Edit
Een vrij simpel zaakje. De chai was ronduit vies. Daar was iets niet goed gegaan en daardoor kregen we iets anders aangeboden. Super lief! Het broodje was wel lekker. De eigenaresse was ook super vriendelijk. Verder staat dit tentje bij mij zeker niet in de meest leuke van Kopenhagen. Ik was gewoon niet zo onder de indruk.

Had a late breakfast here and ate an avocado sourdough bun and a bluberry volcano and it was heavenly. There were lots of seats outside and even in a small area just across the road. The staff worked really slowly but were very nice! Note that you're not allowed to sit here to work or study. It says "no laptops or tablets on the tables inside or outside".

We tried two of their cakes and three of their pastries. The cakes were up there with the best we’ve ever had - and so were the pastries. And everything is fully vegan!☺️

I love this place! First time I’ve ever had vegan cheesecake and it did not disappoint. My favorite is the classic New York cheesecake, but the pecan one is really good as well! Cozy atmosphere although it’s a bit small, gets crowded easily. They usually have outdoor seating as well. Staff is very friendly! I haven’t tried their other pastries yet but I can’t wait to do that. And the cheesecakes are definitely not boring, like vegan options can sometimes be (at places who don’t care for to make the vegan option good). At this place, they really put thought into what they’re doing.

This was by far the best experience I’ve had with a vegan baked goods. The prices might scare you off, but it is so worth it. As a vegan I’m often afraid that profits will go to something I don’t support, but at Kaf I support everything 🌿❤️
