Cosy Cafe - Edit
The pastries were perfectly baked. They weren't overpoweringly sweet and were made in a local style with local flavours. The coffee was delicious and not bitter at all.

Really wonderful vegan pastries and coffee! - Edit
My favourite vegan find in Copenhagen. Great coffee, incredible pastries and lovely staff. Can’t ask for anything more really. Didn’t try the savoury food but was too busy working through the cakes.

Tasted good. But the place is not worth the price - Edit
Our morning platte costed 125kr, which might seem quite usual for CPH. But taking into consideration that you get 1 bun, the price is too high.
Read moreAlso the place was a bit dark with no pillows by the seats by the walls and not many pictures on the walls.
Food tasted good otherwise.

I am a repeat customer here and enjoy it every time. The sound level can get a bit high though. The food, atmosphere, prices and staff is impeccable.

Amazing breakfast - Edit
We got a few things here to share. The toastie was very tasty - proper oily and very good tomato flavour. The yoghurt and granola was great and I loved the autumn bun with apple and cream.

Some of the best vegan pastries ever - Edit
The food and coffee is 10/10, but the café is really tiny and it was super crowded when we came, which made the experience a bit less pleasant.

Best pastry / coffee shop - Edit
One of the best vegan cafés / pastry shops in town. Lots of option. Can be quite crowded and service runs a bit slow, but can't blame them for being popular!

Delicious pastry - Edit
Went there at about 3-4pm and there almost no pastries left. So went again the next day in the morning and got a traditional Danish pastry for 48 DKK. It was delicious.

Amazing pastries - Edit
A very nice place to have breakfast! They offer all kinds of vegan pastries, cakes and brunch options. A little expansive (like everything in Copenhagen) but it is worth - the price for quality! I recommend the almond pastry.

Amazing vegan pastries! - Edit
In a way I'm grateful that I don't have anywhere like this near where I live because the pastries/cakes taste so amazing that I'd probably be fairly on my way to have type 2 diabetes with the amount of times I'd keep coming back.

Overpriced and small portions! - Edit
Can’t really recommend this place for brunch. We had the “seasonal grilly” and the “breakfast komplet”. The seasonal grilly was alright, but the breakfast komplet was definitely not worth the price. There was literally a half avocado with its peel on the plate and you couldn’t really eat it. Otherwise there was like a tbs of cream cheese and a tbs of peanut butter. The waitress was not really friendly and didn’t gave us any napkins or enough cutlery.

Delicious croissants and cute setting - Edit
Kaf is located in a very nice part of Norrebro, has a cute garden across the street and servers who are always friendly. I came in twice and got the typical danish pastry 'spandauer' which is a must try, the cruffin which was a first time for me and tasted ok and then the almond croissant which completely blew me away. This is how croissant should taste like! If I could I'd buy a bagful and take them home with me 😀.
Read moreSo good! Just a small complaint about the coffee; as the review before mentioned, the flat white tasted somehow sour. The next day I ordered cappuccino and it was much better 😃.
Pros: Lovely setting , Best ever croissant , Nice servers
Cons: Flat white not so good

Great hidden gem - Edit
Lovely place that is 100% vegan. Lots of seating options and beautiful outside too
Read moreMenu is rather small featuring all day breakfast. I had their bigger breakfast platter with nice bread roll (not toasted though), homemade Nutella and whipped salted butter, yoghurt with homemade granola, cheese and avocado
Nice avocado, and perfect spread! Loved the Nutella
Prices in Denmark are steep. Came over 22€ with coffee
Minus one star because I didn’t like the coffee. Ordered a flat white which was too sour (I have high expectations on coffee though). Default is oat milk
Pastry looked nice also featuring cheesecakes
Pros: Nutella , Avocado and seasoning
Cons: Coffee

Good, but uses dairy terms to sell non-dairy products - Edit
The cakes and pastries are delicious, so is the sourdough bread and the coffee.
Read moreMy one big problem is that they only say "100% plantbased" and not "vegan". I do not trust the term "plantbased", especially in Copenhagen, where I've seen dishes with meat labeled as "plantbased" just because they include a lot of veggies (not at Kaf, the cafe is fully vegan).
It is actually illegal in the EU to get customers to order and pay for "butter" and then actually serve "margarine" without telling the customer that they are not getting the product they paid for, but a substitute.
On Kaf's menu they write "butter", "cheese", "nutella", "grilled cheese", which is not legal in the EU. It really bothers me, as it has kept me from going there when I first saw it. I always assume that businesses adhere to current laws, so naturally, I assume this cannot be vegan. Also, "Nutella" is a trademarked non-vegan product, even if Kaf calls it "homemade nutella".
I only came in and asked whether everything really is "vegan" and not just "plantbased" after I've seen other vegans post about the cafe on instagram.
