Serves meat, vegan options available. Small cafe offering simple Japanese dishes, including a ramen noodle soup in soy milk broth and a rice noodle soup in vegetable broth - neither contain fish broth. Order is made to order and is served with salad. Has vegan sides like pickled vegetables and snacks like nuts. Staff understand what vegetarian and vegan means and will accommodate. Confirmed no fish broth used for either soup. Hosts lectures and live music events. Open Mon-Tue 5:00pm-10:00pm, Fri 5:00pm-10:00pm, Sat 3:00pm-10:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-10:00pm.

Nice ! - Edit
Cute little place with a small menu. Not everything is vegetarian /vegan but they have vegan options including noodles without dashi (fish broth) which is pretty rare here in Japan. When I came on Monday I had to wait 7pm to be served but I ordered a drink in the meanwhile.

A very lucky find! - Edit
We stumbled across this place because it was a couple of doors down from our hostel. The waitress was very helpful and pointed out the vegetarian/vegan items on the menu. She confirmed that neither noodle soup contained fish broth, one was made with vegetable broth and one soy mil broth. The food was tasty, filling and inexpensive (650 yen for a main). Really nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. A hidden gem!
