Tasty warming soup - Edit
The hot udon noodle soup was tasty and perfect for the cold rainy weather outside. Yet, it would be nice to have some more vegetables in the soup than just spring onions. The location is cool too and the staff very nice.

Tasty Asian Food - Edit
We took our food to go, but the restaurant looked very nice. Our order took some time, but they cook the food very fresh in an open kitchen. We had two udon soups with different fried vegetables. It was really tasty.

A bit plain - Edit
For a restaurant that is fully vegan and specialises in sushi, we found it a little bit plain.
Read moreWe got the "set 1" which is a range of different sushis and they were all variations of vegetables and tofu. It sort of felt like the type of sushi you order cause it's the only vegan option. It would have been nice to have some mock sea food and creamy sauces etc. Which we have had at vegan sushi places elsewhere
A couple of them were also warm because they had been made when the tofu was still warm
The staff and service was really good though

Best Tofu - Edit
Finding tasty vegan sushi can be hard but this place has done an amazing job.
Read moreWe tried the Kitsune udon - the tofu was outstanding.
Also tried the miso pickles - honestly not my thing (I think the pickling was more Polish than Japanese) but partner enjoyed it.
And then had lots of sushi. The pumpkin tempura sushi was just incredible
Pros: Excellent variety , Best tofu
Cons: Would like more mix and match options with set men

Very chill - Edit
Sitting in the garden here with a cup of tea was really relaxing. I only wish I’d taken a little longer to choose my sushi as I rushed a bit and thought what I ordered was nice but not amazing. If we were in the city longer I would definitely return to try something else as there’s loads of choice - the lunch menu looks really good value too!

Original but room for improvement - Edit
I ordered a combination meal with an udon ramen soup with fried mushrooms and a variation of 3 fermented vegetables. The soup was okay but a bit boring (only having noodles and spring onion in there) and lacked the umami flavour that I long for in ramen. The mushrooms were great. The fermented assortment was really creative, with beet, cauliflower, and one other that I can't recall. They were really strong in sourness. I think they made this more Polish. This is a fun choice to make, but I would love to have it be a more coherent mixture in the entirety of the meal. The prices are decent for what you get.
Read morePros: Originality in meals, Option of having lots of small things, Decent price
Cons: Flavours not really hitting the spot, Flavours feel like they don't belong together

Not so great - Edit
Happy cow showed me this place as I had an one hour stop. It had good reviews so I walked up there. It was like 3 minutes walk from the station.
Read moreI ordered the lunch deal; I had the katsu curry with a cup of tea ( included ). I asked for tofu. The meal came to my table in a few minutes. While I was eating I didn’t see any tofu in my dish. It was mushrooms instead. When I asked about it they offered me 3 pieces of tofu.
The katsu was okay not the katsu I remember, not the Japanse flavor and no veggies on the side. Not very big portion. The tofu pieces tasted good.
The staff was not that great, so I don’t know if I would recommend this place but for a quick lunch break why not.
KaVeganUdon

I just arrived near the station and I had this Amazing vegan Lunch. The good thing is that they had this menu where you can have a small taste of some dishes. It was enough for me. Everything was tasty and super cute. I love it and If I had more days I will definitely go again. They have also a nice open area

The BEST vegan food I've had in krakow!! 🖤🌱 - Edit
Myself and my husband come for a 4 day holiday to krakow. I had a few nice places we tried for vegan food, but nothing that stood out to us, unfortunately. That was until we found this place on the last night. I wish we had found it sooner, as it would've been a constant return throughout our stay.
Read moreThe atmosphere was lovely, friendly staff, and the food was absolutely incredible!! We had starters, mains, and dessert, which is also rare for us.

Tasty vegan interpretations of classic Japanese cuisine - Edit
Only spend two days in Krakow and still managed to visit this restaurant three times during that time. From Udon with mushroom tempura to their large variety of sushi, every meal had an authentic Japanese taste and presentation. This restaurant serves as an example of how creativity and passion can successfully “veganize” a cuisine beyond the ubiquitous and lacklustre practice of just switching ingredients.
