Jyoti’s is an excellent spot for quality vegan food.
Read moreMy husband and I have tried several things on the menu and everything has been very tasty and well-prepared. The diversity of their menu makes them a consistently interesting place to eat.
They also have a vegan dessert case with fabulous vegan desserts.
Pros: Fully vegetarian restaurant, All items can be made vegan, Gluten free options
Cons: A little slow on takeout

Great choices and options but very high prices - Edit
Vast menu with something for everyone. Expensive cappuccino($5 ) and was actually very average.
Read moreDisappointing moussaka which was nothing at all like traditional... more like a veg pasta. Also ordered Palak Paneer which was good. Tasty but high prices and very disappointed with dessert options as they had run out of most things.
Pros: Huge menu , Friendly service
Cons: Location isn’t great , Description of dishes can be misleading: Moussaka

Excellent food. - Edit
If you want some special food I highly recommend this place. The menu is a mile long, which is a little overwhelming, and obviously makes you think that something must be frozen.
Read moreI don't know how they do it, but the quality is incredible. I haven't had anything poorly made.
If you want it, they have it. And it's good.

Nice experience - Edit
We had a all round nice experience , I found the prices to be more expensive than expected . $5 Cappuccino. My brother had palak he said was good but only vegan option to have it was with tofu and I had the Lasagne which I enjoyed. The Moussaka was a let down not traditional at all look more like a normal spiral pasta with chopped up veg. The bakery only had one option Lava Cake we shared it but with it being a hot dessert it definitely needed ice-cream or a custard to go with it. Ave meal price $15

Amazing! - Edit
Jyoti's opened in August 2018. I always saw their signed but never in my mind thought it was Vegan/Vegetarian restaurant. I have to say that I left feeling happy. Jyoti's menu is huge. You will have plenty to choose starting from the appetizers to dessert. The best part is that the menu is International. Ethiopian to Italian.

What a find in Charlotte! Took my mom there for Mother's Day and we were amazing how delicious the good was! The menu selection was huge and so many options to choose from! You must try the crab cakes made out of heart of palm! One of the most amazing items on the menu! Sabrina was also wonderful!

AH-MAZ-ING - Edit
First, the service was great. Our waitress asked us multiple times if we had any questions being that it’s world cuisine and there are a lot of words on the menu that got a funny face from me. Gave us lots of time to scour their hefty menu(I’ll get back to that) and the owner was even there going around to all the tables asking what we had, how we liked everything, even telling us a little about himself and his wife. The atmosphere was very energetic. There isn’t a very large seating area but the paint and decor makes it seem bigger than it is. Now, back to the menu. It is a long menu like the other reviews say and even a little intimidating... BUT, as a vegan, when I go out to eat at many restaurants, I get MAYBE one, two, or, if I’m lucky, three vegan options to choose from. It was such a relief that I can go to this restaurant and get anything from a philly cheese steak, to naan bread, to Hakka noodles(which is what I got and highly recommend). So many options for whatever I am in the mood for and to add a cherry on top literally and figuratively, they have a freakin vegan bakery. We were so full by the end of our meal, I was sad I couldn’t fit any chocolate coconut cake they had sitting behind the refrigerated glass in my belly. Finally, prices. It’s a tad bit pricey. With two people, an appetizer of samosas, an order of naan bread, and two entree’s, our bill was just below fifty dollars. The food was completely worth it and with the portions they serve, you’ve got another delicious meal the next day. We will definitely be back!

Tasty food, excellent service ... - Edit
Tons of vegan options which is great but unfortunately, they offer too many options it’s hard to decide what to get and although I know it is a specialty restaurant, the food is way overpriced compared to other vegan restaurants. Service was very friendly and helpful through. I plan on going back for special occasions.

Unreal international selection!!! - Edit
This place has the most variety of ANY restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life! Plan on an extra 10 minutes just to read the menu! We have already tried many of the options from nine different countries/regions (!) and enjoyed almost all of them. Surprisingly, the Italian dishes were some of our favorite.
Read morePros: Amazing selection so something for EVERYone, Nearly all items vegan but can be made vegetarian, Super nice people

Great New Vegan & Vegetarian - Edit
My wife and I tried our Joyti's at one of their pre-opening events. The dining room is very nice, staff helpful and the food great! We had some pakoras and a vegan coconut lassie. Both were very good. We split a vegan ruben (we added real cheese) and had a side of their mac and cheese. Great flavors and generous portions. We're looking forward to going back and trying some of their African and Indian dishes. It's great to have a vegan-vegetarian restaurant in town with such a broad menu.
