I was at their long overdue reopening on November 3rd 2023. The food, as always was absolutely delicious and anything can made vegan or vegetarian upon request.

Absolutely loved this place when we were in Thailand and it was the closest restaurant to our hotel! I'd recommend booking a table in advance because they are so busy but they really do make excellent food, lovely staff and such a good chilled vibe! The English was pretty good but I learned to say 'hi I'm vegetarian, can I have (whatever meal) withnno egg, no milk, no fish sauce please' in Thai to make sure there was no confusion! There is not a direct translation for vegan so saying your vegetarian then asking for no milk, no egg or fish sauce will usually does he trick! 10/10 for Jungle kitchen!

I think of the handful of times we came to Jungle kitchen only one time we did not make a reservation... there was only 2 of us and they squeezed us in after a wait of 20 minutes. We attempted to eat here several times when they were not able to accommodate us because they are always rammed.

Whilst this place does serve a lot of meat dishes, loads of them can be made vegetarian/vegan. Staff clearly knew what no egg/fish sauce/shrimp sauce meant. We didn’t book a table, so had to wait around 10/15 minutes before we were seated, so I’d recommend booking if you want to go!

We ate here twice, and would have eaten a third had I not hurt myself on an excursion. The staff is incredibly friendly and speaks English well. They were also very welcoming of my rambunctious 3 year old. We enjoyed the red curry, pineapple curry, spring rolls, and Tom Yum Soup. Basically every dish has a vegetarian/vegan option, and was delicious! Many places we ate at nearby felt heavy and oily, but these meals were a lot more fresh tasting. I definitely recommend and would give 5 stars if I could.

The food was fantastic. Super fresh, tasty and filled with flavours. They can pretty much use tofu as a substitute for most dishes so there is a lot of choice. One of the best Ao Nang food experiences.

Really popular restaurant, you need a reservation at least for dinner time. We had lunch there, still had to wait a few minutes to have a table. The food was good, quick service. Wanted to go back for dinner before 7pm but it was fully reserved until 9pm.

I would rate this restaurant 5 stars if I could. The friendly staff was very accommodating and gave me peace of mind ensuring my meal was vegan. The meal was so delicious and abundant with flavour. As many other reviews have stated, it’s best to reserve one or two days in advance. A must try in Ao Nang

The place has limited seating and due to its popularity gets full and stops accepting patrons with a “fully booked” sign outside. Dishes are tasty and well prepared. Service extremely kind and friendly, all around from hostess, waitress, and servers. We had the red and masaman curries which were both excellent. Prices are fair for the islands. Can’t give 5 stars because not fully veg.

The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. They have a big menu and they offered almost everything with a vegetarian option. Though we should have ordered with more variety because all the dishes we had has tofu. Their vegetarian option mostly just replaced the meat with tofu but this goes for most restaurants in Krabi. Must have their coconut shake which is perfect for the hot weather.

We went to the jungle kitchen three nights in a row and tried most of their menu and everything was delicious! They are a great family-run restaurant and really make an effort to provide an authentic Thai dining experience. For drinks, two mains and either a starter or dessert we ended up paying between 400 to 500 Baht which is incredible value for money. It is recommended to make a reservation if you want to enjoy their delicious food for dinner.

The best place for dinner in Ao Nang - Edit
If you want to taste traditional Thai vegan food for a cheap price, this is the place to be. This place is so popular for their quality and cheap prices that you have to make a reservation beforehand. You can't call them up, so I advise you to go there in the morning or afternoon and make your reservation for the night. I went with my partner a couple of times, had both a drink, a starter and a main course and the bill was always around 400 bhat. Great!

Authentic Thai food in funky little restaurant. English speaking staff, who understand what vegan means. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices on the menu. Place is very popular so reservations are required for evening service, not (yet) for lunch. Recommended!
