Good (big) Pizza

5 different vegan pizzas in two sizes and additional vegan dressing available. Only take away at this location. Pizza was good but could have been bit more flavorful in my opinion, but the cashewmozzarella was very good. Staff was friendly and quick.

Greasy

Nr.19 - tasty but too much oil. Burned black spots on top.

A good experience

We bought pizzas 20,21 on the menu. They were good! Nothing memorable but they were big and the taste was good! The prices are reasonable. We had some pieces left for next day and they tasted good cold as well.

Pretty good pizza

Their vegan options are kind of unusual, but it somrhow worked. I had i believe nr 20, with broccolini, mushrooms and olives. Didnt taste the mushrooms, and the cashew cheese was unevenly spread out, but i had a pleasant experience overall.

They make their own cashewmozzarella

I don't often eat pizza outside of my house, but when I do it is always Jungel pizza. This is the best vegan pizza you can get in Oslo. By now, I've tasted all the pizzas on their menu, and all of them got that really impressive homemade cashewmozzarella on them. I would say that some of the toppings are a bit of an acquired taste, e.g., some of the pizzas got potato, broccolini and radish on them. However, the taste combos are so deliberate. The crust is thin and crispy as I like it. This is quality pizza.

Pros: Best vegan pizza in Oslo, Homemade cashewmozzarella, Thin and crispy crust

Great for vegans!

Really nice Italian pizza with amazing vegan cheese that doesn’t stick to your teeth! Not much seating (this place is more for take away), but the pizza can be brought to the nearby bar which also have a cute terrace.

Pros: Several vegan options , Delicious vegan cheese

Cons: No seating in the restaurant , Not cheap

Oslo’s best pizza

4-5 vegan pizzas, all delicious and full of flavor. My favorites are number 19 with rosemary pesto, potato and spinach and 21 with miso and radishes🫶🏻

Love it!

I had the 20 option with vegan pesto and mushrooms. It was delicious, but the place is small to eat so better eat at home or the park near by

Pros: Good options, Delicious flavour

Cons: Not enough space to eat, take long time to get ready bc many orders

Perfect pizza

The pizzas at Jungle pizza are slightly different, but this is strictly a good thing! The crust is italian style, baked in a stone oven, and it somehow turns into magic.

They have several vegan pizzas on the meny, ranging from a margherita to one with potatoes, rosemary and pine needles. Don't worry, they also have more traditional toppings ;)

As for the cheese, this is homemade cashew mozarella, and it is... incredible. It is mouth watering and provides for a true culinary experience. Not bad for take-away pizza!

Jungle pizza is mainly take-away/delivery, though they do have a table where you can wait for your order. You can also bring your pizza to a neighbouring pub (ask the staff) and eat it there, as long as you order something to drink.

Pros: Cashew mozarella, Take-away pizza like no other

Interesting flavor combos

We had two large pizzas: a basic margherita and one with rosemary pesto and potatoes. The second one was very interesting and tasty (definitely my favorite). Very nice dough. The cashew cheese is homemade apparently. It is ok, but not my favorite vegan cheese.

Pros: Quick service, Yummy pizza, Friendly staff

Cons: Only takeaway

Very delicious vegan pizzas

They have clearly marked vegan pizzas with several options 😁 I went for the jungel special pizza with artichoke, pesto, and smoked vegan cheese, and also for the number 21 with tomato sauce, tomatoes, vegan cheese, and olives. Both the pizzas were among the best vegan pizzas I have ever eaten, and I would give 5 stars if I could 😁 the staff were also very friendly with good vibes 😁

A piece of heaven

When I think about a Jungel pizza, the first thing that comes to mind is their unusual, exciting topping. To name a few items: amandine potato, radish, portobello mushrooms, and proper amounts of herbs.

The main seller for a vegans, however, is their solution to cheese. Instead of using commercial vegan cheese brands (which currently is horrible on pizza, imo), Jungel has come up with an own cashew mozarella, sometimes coupled with a cashew cream instead of sauce. And believe me, it tastes amazing! I’d say even better than normal mozarella due to its consistency.

Jungel uses high temp stone ovens which not only yields swift orders (usually only 15 mins), but also a crust which I swear is a piece of heaven..
The only drawback I can think of is that they’re take-away oriented, and doesn’t offer delivery (yet?). Personally this is not an issue, but I can see it being a problem for some.

Pros: Their cashew mozzarella is amazing!, Many vegan options, Seasonal pizzas are often vegan as well ~

Cons: Few places to sit as they’re take-away oriented, No delivery

Delicious, juicy, cheesy, vegan pizza!

I’ve been super happy with the pizzas I’ve ordered there. Their mozzarella is off the hook! They should definitely have vegan sauce as a standard though, both times they’ve said that they have it sometimes. Come on - we need that sauce! 😁😍 Anyway, satisfy your pizza craving here!

Pros: Enough cheese! Not dry 😄, Friendly staff, nice vibe, Delivery to the bar across the street

Cons: Location is slightly off (at least from my hoods;, No vegan dressing/sauce
