Decent Amount of Vegan Options - Edit
Lots of vegan options, tofu plates, lots of different eggplant dishes. Enough to make the kids happy.

Beautiful location and a variety of vegan and vegetarian options - Edit
Good atmosphere (live music, comfortable chairs, well designed forniture) and a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options. We had a great cooked salad (aubergine and paprika with coriander and garlic) and a vegetarian dish with tofu, mushrooms and quail eggs.
Read moreNot many local vegetarian dishes.
Price was higher than average, still we'd come back.

Several vegetable options - Edit
Tried the tofu and the garlic eggplant dishes. The eggplant with garlic was very tasty. The tofu was ok, but as many others have mentioned I was gñad i could.have some tofu in the region as it is very difficult to find.
Read moreRestaurant is pricey. Very friendly waiters. The lemonade was very tasty as well.
I was able to pay with credit card (visa). The description says cash only, that was not my experience on 29.09.2022
Pros: Many vegetable dishes, Pay by card
Cons: Pricey

Tofu! - Edit
Finally a place with tofu. Makes it worth the visit in itself! The food wasn’t great, but also wasn’t bad. Would definitely recommend it as an option in Tashkent.

Good selection, but very greasy - Edit
As an absolute tofu lover it was amazing to find this place. However, as I look back on the meal, all I can remember is it was overflowing with oil. A little too much for my taste. Wouldn’t advise against going, but the cooking execution could be improved.

Wider selection than most places - Edit
As in most places in Uzbekistan is tricky to know if dishes are vegan. It the waitress was kind enough to ask in the kitchen about the dishes I wanted.
Read moreI ended up with the lentil soup, and the fried vegetables with dafu asperges.
Soup was nice.
I think the dafu is some sofa stuff, but they pet calling it a vegetable.
The sauce was the gluing type, so not very appealing or tasty.
In the end it did the job, but the food was not amazing.
Many more options for vegetarians.
Pros: Bigger selection than average, Vegan possible

Probably the closest to 'vegetarian friendly' place in Tashkent - Edit
It's a good place, with nice decor and English speaking staff. If you are vegetarian, there is many options to choose from. For vegans there is less of them but some things can be modified. They have nice salads, with interesting combinations. The quality of ingredients is very good.

Very good experience - Edit
Compared to other restaurants I visited in Tashkent, this place had the most naturally vegan options to choose from. They were not marked on the menu, but the waiter was very helpful to show which items were vegan after I had shown my card addressing all the things I do not eat in Russian (they did not speak much English). The food was delicious and the atmosphere there was pleasant, no loud TV on like in many other places.
Read morePros: Quite many vegan options, Helpful service, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Vegan options not clearly listed, Quite far from center, Serves animal products

Good vegetarian selection - Edit
Restaurant has a good vegetarian selection, including salads, appetisers and main courses. I had the walnuts wrapped in aubergine to start, followed by pan fried tofu and rice. They serve a selection of spirits / wine / beer.
Read moreDecor dated, staff a little stand offish (this could have been because I was by myself). Matradee appears to be the only one with working English.
Over all a good experience.
Pros: Many vegetarian options.
Cons: 20% service charge. Never worked out if they took , Taxi driver found it hard to find (ask for Bec Hot
