Read moreLocation: west of the historic Downtown Willoughby.
We enjoyed an extended, relaxing evening, filled with fine dining and welcomed vegan options. We each had one entrée: the macrobiotic bowl with tofu added on as the protein, and the cashew crusted tofu. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented.
The setting was elegant, but not pretentious. The culture was upscale, but not imposing. We are eager to bring friends back here for repeat dining experiences.
Pros: Beautifully presented vegan options , Excellent service , Elegant, but accessible setting
Cons: More vegan options needed

Elevated Vegan Dining Experience - Edit
Julia’s 1902 opened this past April. It is located on the first floor of a renovated stone mansion. The decor is very tasteful, with many elements from the original design from when it was first built in 1902. There are several different rooms from which to dine. We ate in the “living room”, which is really the main dining room. Each eating area is named after what the original room was in 1902. We enjoyed our location, but would like to try one of the other rooms on our next visit as they seemed a bit more quaint.
Read moreThe service was wonderful (note that 20% service charge is automatically added to your bill). There were many vegan and vegan option food choices on the menu, starting with appetizers through to dessert.
We started with the mushroom bruschetta (which was delicious) and the Brussels sprouts and carrots (both from the side dishes). The carrots were just okay, but the crispy brussel sprouts were amazing.
For our main entree we had the macrobiotic bowl to which we added cashew crusted tofu. The flavors in the bowl were really good, and the tofu was amazing.
For dessert, we tried the one vegan option, banana brûlée. It was a nice dessert, with a brûlée crisp topping on each banana slice. It was served with chocolate “ice cream”, but salted caramel would have been a better choice.
Looking forward to our next visit!
Pros: Wonderful dining experience , Decent amount of vegan and vegan options available, Beautiful bathrooms!
