Mediocre - Edit
We ordered two different breakfasts and they got switched and we only noticed after having eaten half of it. The tofu wasn’t seasoned at all. Presentation was meh. The scrambles were ok. Sourdough toast was the best part. Even tried the French toast and it was super dry and hella chewy. Iced coffee with oat milk was very bitter. I wanted to like it more.

A favorite! - Edit
I’ve been to Julian’s dozens of times… how have I never remembered to rate it?
Read moreIt’s my favorite vegan brunch in Providence. They make so many good things, but the Bonita Juarez tofu scramble is my favorite. I usually swap the potatoes for the vegan hash at an up charge. Their tempeh sausage is soooo good. It’s in the hash but it’s even better on its own. I’ve never had a bad dish here. The Benedict and the sweeter stuff is also great. I almost always go for brunch, but know I’ve enjoyed their evening menu as well. I just can’t remember what I got because everything blurs into a lot of happy memories. Great place to go chill with friends over some vegan Bloody Marys!

great vegan brunch - Edit
Vegan Hash is so good! Comes fully loaded with broccoli, cheese, onions, and tempeh. Add the avocado and jalapeños to it and it’s to die for. I’d highly recommend getting the vegan hash independently instead of the vegan hash plate that comes with toast and grilled tofu- the tofu was so bad I kind of thought there was a mistake. It was like two slabs of white steamed tofu LOL. But all the other vegan options make up for that. Vegan hash, sausage, and french toast are great. Also make sure to go to the bathroom while you’re there to check out the PEZ museum.

3 and a half stars! - Edit
I split the vegan hash plate and French toast w my mom, also vegan. The hash was AWESOME, we really liked it. They had multiple vegan options and can make any omelette recipe with tofu which is nice. Oat, almond and soy milk. The French toast was ok in flavor but chewy, sometimes a bit hard. I would get the hash again, maybe the French toast but probably not. Mom didn’t like the coffee much.

A Providence favorite - Edit
I love going here. They clearly specify vegan options, and staff always double-check your order if you're vegan and/or have allergies. Food always comes out fast and it's great every time. Definitely check this place out.

Try brunch instead - Edit
We went to Julian's for a friend's birthday party, and were initially very excited about the menu since it had SO many vegan options.
Read moreWe ended up getting the vegan steak and cheez and the great beyonder burger.
Couldn't wait to try the steak and cheese, and we were immensely disappointed. It was nauseatingly chewy, bland, and had no flavor. Couldn't finish it. Great beyonder burger wasn't anything exciting or to write home about.
Maybe their brunch options are better, but I don't recommend their burgers and sandwiches.
Atmosphere of the restaurant was great, and their bathroom was really cool. Staff wasn't the most pleasant.
Pros: Vegan options, Great atmosphere
Cons: Mediocre food

Went for brunch and got the vegan hash & vegan French toast. Was good, but not mind blowing. Lots more options! Atmosphere is nice, there is occasionally a very long wait. Will definitely be back to try other options

Meh - Edit
The food is aesthetically gorgeous. The miso bowl had no spice or flavor to it. The veggie pakora was good, recommend it! The vegan steak and cheese was okay. The wrap and cheese were delicious but overall wasn’t impressed.

Good vegan options - Edit
We had brunch there and it was definitely a good idea. They have some vegan options that tasted really nice. We ordered chocolate pancakes (amazing!), seasonal pancakes (pumpkin and strawberry) and some egg-based dish (it was actually made of tofu). The decoration of this place is cool and the staff is friendly.

Lots of great options - Edit
I went recently with my wife and mother and we and thoroughly enjoyed everything. We started with vegan chocolate pancakes which melted in your mouth. Then I had a tofu scramble that was a special with sweet potato, jalapeño and brussel sprouts plus hash and toast. The Bloody Mary with pepper vodka was awesome too. Will definitely return when back in providence.

So good, even my daughter liked it! - Edit
I went here with my fiancé and daughter (who is extremely picky, being that eating vegan is still fairly new to her). The wait was about 20 minutes, which was fine since it was beautiful outside. We sat outside on these cute little benches they have. My fiancé ordered the vegan steak and cheese wrap, which was delicious (of course I had to try it). I ordered a tofu omelet and it was so good that my daughter devoured half of them! She ordered the vegan chocolate pancakes with coconut whipped cream and that was delicious too! Overall I am very happy and will definitely go back again!

Amazing brunch - Edit
This is my go to brunch place, with my non-vegan friends. It has options for everyone and their tofu scramble is the best I've had. They have some clearly marked options on their menu, plus vegan specials every day, and you can also make your own scramble!

Out of Town Stop - Edit
I was in town and wants to try a cool vegan spot...Julian's is it. Even the restroom is cool.
Read moreI came mid week at about 1:30pm and had about a 20 minute wait. The meal was worth a 20 minute wait. I was seated a a large table with a couple of friendly regulars. I was ready to order a make-your-own tofu scramble, but they ran out of vegan cheese☹️. However, I was pleased with my 2nd choice, the St. Jamez (a Tofu Benedict). I liked the tofu, sauce and the bread. The spinach topped it all off. The meal also included a spicy side of potatoes. All that cost $8. The vegan pancake was not to my liking, but to each their own. The staff was also very nice.
Pros: Cost, friendly atmosphere, good customer service
Cons: Ran out of vegan cheese
